Sad offense. 16 points doesn’t win games. -

Maybe they’ll just continue to run it into the line and get stuffed. Will they learn? Throw it to Landry/OBJ if you want to win. I’d prefer they keep running, though. -

The difference is in the control of the ball that the QB has. -

Obviously he has talent, he’s made it this far to a position as an NFL starting QB. He’s also not shown consistent flashes of being an upper-echelon caliber QB. In two years, he’s looked like a mediocre QB. i just don’t see what other Bills fans think they see. I don’t think he’s good and it’s only going to become more obvious as we play better teams that will require the offense to move the ball better and score more points. -

This is the issue and until people start to come around to having the discussion that Allen may not be the guy, we’re just going to be arguing in circles. The reason I predict this team to miss the playoffs is because of the offense. The problems are glaring, soft schedule and all. -
Really interested to see Kareem Hunt today. Chubb, Hunt, and our run-d. Should be a telling day.

With the Browns barreling toward hiring their fourth head coach and third OC in Baker’s first two years, I wonder what detriment that’s had to his regression and overall career arch? Even with my dim outlook on the Bills season, at least people can’t say “same old Bills.” This is the same old Browns, though.

It’s close. There were no verbal reasoning questions but these are the types of questions on the Wonderlic. Standardized tests like these are half-about test taking approach which is measuring analytical processing and less about content knowledge.

Great name, wish it was coming from a better brewery than Resurgence.

Don’t see London happening for the same reason I don’t see Toronto. The league is driven through TV-money. Unless they can get a monster deal through whatever agencies are in the UK or Rogers, there’s little incentive for the owners to do so. It doesn’t increase future tv deals to have a team out of market. -
The London Chargers? In the AFC East? It could happen

Have to look ahead, not backward. Bellichek is getting up there in age, Brady is about to retire. They’re going into the gutter. The AFCE is where you want to be with Miami, NE, and NYJ. Keep the Pats before you get the Eagles with Wentz, NYG with Jones, the Browns with a real head coach, etc. It’ll be fun to knock around the Brady-less Pats for a decade. -
The problem is that the Bills haven’t looked impressive. I’ll give them the Patriots loss but four of our wins are against the four worst teams in the league and we’ve struggled in all of them. They don’t pass the eye test (or the analytics test). Also, 14/20 for 160 isn’t good enough to win against any playoff caliber team. This team isn’t as good as their record suggests. They might make the playoffs, great, but I still don’t think they’re very good.

They are tanking and it’s working. It just turns out that nobody can outsuck the Cincinnati Bengals. They have decades of practice at this. Also, the coach needs to be in on it. If Flores wasn’t coaching for future jobs, he might just mail in the 0-16 by starting Josh Rosen.

because rules should be adapted with the times to a reflect a constantly evolving game. Game flow and player attributes aren’t the same as they were when many of the rules were written. Rules should be constantly tweaked and changed and that’s why they are.

Let’s be honest, though. It’s about as easy to buy weed as it is a Pepsi anywhere in this country. If he’s not over his demons, it’s not going to matter where he goes, legal or not.

I mean, the best record this team will finish with is 9-7. DVOA is a really good predictor, like kenpom and Corsi. Corsi had the Sabres pegged as awful from day one last year and nobody wanted to believe it. Data analysis can be wrong but DVOA has proven to be fairly accurate in my reflection. The eye test also confirms what they’re saying a bit. Heaven forbid I say that multiple aspects of the Bills look bad though..... I must not be a “real fan,” whatever that means.

I must see something else on Sundays because to me, the only sure thing is are non-QB offensive talent and defense. Maybe Beane, McD, and Frazier. I’m entirely not sure on Daboll. I don’t think McD is an exceptional game day coach but he’s good enough to get it done. SB history is littered with coaches who were “good enough.” I like the job Beane has done, for the most part. Frazier, I’m not sure of because of the same reoccurring breakdowns and I’m not sure who’s really calling the defense after last year. Daboll, I’m not sure what kind of limitations McD’s demands and Allen place on him. I haven’t seen anything that suggests Josh Allen is a Super Bowl quality QB. Im not even sure he’s a franchise caliber QB yet. The rest of the offensive talent is fine. I think Brady, Mahomes, Rodgers, etc., have this roster of offensive talent in championship contention. The talent isn’t elite but it’s good. The defense would be good enough with a competently functioning offense backing it up.
