  1. The answer is 50%. Josh has shown enough that he’ll get the full look of his contract but in three years it will be readily apparent if he’s hit a limited ceiling or not. The team is built to win now so he won’t get past the first contract if he ends up not taking his passing game to another level. Next year will be huge for him, need to see more growth in his ability to read defenses and a little more touch on his passes.
  2. Dude, the defense is the only reason this game wasn’t a joke. They’ve been on the field almost all game.
  3. Can we see that fearless play McD talked about a couple weeks ago now? Stop playing afraid of NE on offense.
  4. I feel like this board doesn’t understand the difference between culture and character. Someday the Bills are going to sign a guy who isn’t a great person but who can absolutely ball. And you know what, McBeane won’t do a thing if they fit into the locker room. Guys can be of questionable character and still be great teammates/team first guys. Hell, Irvin is getting roasted for coke and hookers. You really think those early 90’s Bills team weren’t doing the same thing? The stories are out there. Personal character of one player =\= team culture.
  5. I think you have to add Harbaugh to elite. The Ravens have been consistently competitive and he retooled successfully on the fly. He’s a good coach.
  6. He doesn’t because its made up. The decision to medically clear Brees to play isn’t up to him. Doctors/Payton say it’s OK, any competitive player is going to play.
  7. Zac Taylor probably won’t be a one and done but he hasn’t shown anything to instill confidence this year. Forever the Bungals.
  8. Tenn/Houston. It feels weird to say but NE just isn’t interesting on any level for the first time in a long time. I couldn’t care less about them playing the Bengals. Tenn/Houston has the resurgence of Tannehill, great skill players littered across both teams, and it feels like the future of the AFC. Oh, the playoff implications for us don’t hurt, either.
  9. ATT is the worst. Once they chargebacked a payment that was on autopay from like three months prior. Eventually my service was disconnected and I noticed that my autopay was cancelled. Their customer support told me that the bank account linked to my autopay wasn’t a valid account and that it was blocked from their system. I couldn’t pay with it, no exceptions. I went round and round, explaining that this was the only checking that I had ever had and that I’d had it since I was sixteen. Furthermore, there had never been a problem with it in the two years I’d been a customer or in the months since. Nope, the customer service representative wasn’t having it. It wasn’t a valid checking account. They wouldn’t even acknowledge that the money never came back to my account or that I had a letter from my bank stating the issue wasn’t on my end. I would have to find an alternative method of payment or they would charge my account off and send it to collections... So I spent about four hours arguing with different escalating supervisors until I asked for a number for their corporate complaints. That must have touched a nerve because I’ll never forget the next person I got. I asked who I was speaking to, and he simply said, “Mike from El Paso.” I stated that I wanted to make a corporate complaint, and he responded, “You’re not making any complaints. You’re not speaking to anyone else. There’s no one else to speak to.” I asked for the number to make a complaint and he responded, “It’s on the website” and hung up on me. Predictably, the only number on the website was the same basic customer service number I had started with four hours earlier. That was the day I learned not to waste my time complaining about bad service from garbage companies. They don’t care. I let that account charge off. I’ll never subscribe to ATT for anything again.
  10. You might want to double check that. Henry had a great game but Kittle and Andrews were kept in total check by Pittsburgh’s defense. This game will not be easy. Pittsburgh has hung tough with the league’s elite when they’ve played. Lost by two to Seattle, 4 to SF, and lost to the Ravens in OT.
  11. Bill is at Steeler’s what on SNF? They aren’t possessive.
  12. There are several WR that have an impact immediately. From the 2019 draft, Debo Samuel, AJ Brown, DK Metcalf, Diontae Johnson, Terry McLaurin, etc. With the right pick you can get a cost controlled starting WR which better enables us to keep the team and our depth intact. BB isn’t a good measure of WR draft success. It’s not just the draft where he struggles to identify WR that fit his system.
  13. I don’t understand how people don’t get this. The order of going for two is largely irrelevant. By going for two earlier, you’re giving yourself more time on the clock in case you don’t make it. No matter what, you’re at risk of not converting, Going for it earlier gives you more time to make up the lost points if you don’t convert. All this convoluted math to explain why it was a bad decision is illogical.
  14. Except that the deep play was there, several times, at least three where the Ravens secondary was cleanly beat deep. If the QB makes those throws, this game might of got out of hand for the Ravens. We’re not very good if we have to “warm up” first. If the shot is there, you take it.
  15. I think the penalties on this drive have cancelled out the PI non-call earlier. Most of these have been pretty questionable but I’ll take ‘em. Calls always even out.
  16. Why? They have to at some point. Better to try now and miss where there’s still some time to try and get the ball again. If you wait until the end of the game and miss, well, that’s it.
  17. They should go for two here. Find out if you need one or two more scores now.
  18. And he’ll likely be put on the Commissioner’s exempt list. Guy has an open sexual assault case going. Past NFL precedent says he doesn’t play even if he signs. Brady doesn’t look good but Pats WR’s look bad. No separation at all from Sanu, Harry, or Meyers. They would have been better off with Gordon and Thomas.
  19. If only the Patriots had another receiver who could get separation... maybe dumping Gordon wasn’t a great move. Meyers not looking good.
  20. So now that the Nick Foles era is over in Jacksonville, 88 million dollar backup or is there a suitor for him out there?
  21. We’re talking about today, right? Smith-Schuster is still out. That’s kind of their problem. They can’t run and without JJ-SS, Washington, Johnson, and Samuels are all playing above their slots. Denzel Ward should completely shut down Washington. I’m sure they’ll dink and dunk their way down the field but I don’t think they’re scoring enough to beat anyone with that lineup today.
  22. I’m not sure I would call James Washington and Jaylen Samuels “all kinds of receiving threats.” Sure, they’re receivers in the NFL but they can’t get separation. The absence of JJ really hurts because everybody is slotted up too far. Washington can’t compete against #1s. Steelers have nothing on offense right now.
  23. It’s ratings, simple as that. Will the teams playing draw viewers to satisfy the network and advertisers paying? Buffalo being in a smaller media market doesn’t help but star players, interesting story lines, and/or a relevant winning team can offset some of that. With the Bills success on the field and their draw on Thanksgiving, they’ll absolutely get a look next year on prime time.
  24. I think the point is, why are we lurking the Browns forum three weeks after we played them to become butt hurt over lukewarm to generally indifferent comments about Allen? Can we get over this crazy inferiority complex?
