  1. Most obvious play call. Should have thrown it to the corner.
  2. Bad hit but good grief, it’s going to be a short career is Allen doesn’t reel in his running a bit.
  3. But there was no contact. By rule, it’s not PI.
  4. This is our QB, for better and worse. From the Brett Favre school of quarterbacking.
  5. I know this is hard to accept for Bills fans but the Patriots are a much better team. People kept trying to spin our 3-0 but we squeaked by three bad teams while making tons of mistakes. NE hammered three bad teams with few mistakes. Josh will be fine but we aren’t some elite team on NE’s level like people were dreaming.
  6. You must be a blast at parties. You didn’t need to seriously dissect a joke, twice.
  7. NY Giants. Having gone to school in NYC as a Bills fan and being friends with tons of people who went to UB so they “knew”/“liked”/“thought Buffalo was fun,” they all loved Buffalo but had a crazy superiority complex the minute anything Buffalo was compared to NYC, football teams included. It was insufferable. It always flowed something like: Me: “I think the Bills are going to beat the Giants this week” NYC friend: “Buffalo sucks, loser town with blue collar loser people with loser sports teams. The city sucks just like your sports teams. Without us, you wouldn’t even have sports teams because Buffalo is just loser people on welfare. We own your crappy team of losers.” Every single time, it was like mandatory to just combine random insults of how lame everything downstate was when discussing The Bills. Completely ruined the the Giants and their fans forever for me. Eff the Cowboys, too.
  8. I love that you guys are arguing Grammy’s like that’s had any relevance to good music in over twenty years. This is about the most accessible and non-offensive to anyone mainstream act that the NFL can schedule for casual football fans and casual “music” fans.
  9. I’m blessed to have a chemical imbalance that improperly processes crystals so I’m prone to kidney stones. So a couple summers ago I worked summer school in agonizing pain, just a sharp shooting pain, all day every day, that never got better. I have an extremely high pain tolerance, I’m very stubborn when it comes to things like going to the doctor, and I’m used to kidney stones, so I tough it out. Eventually, it’s just getting gradually worse and it becomes too much to ignore. And that’s when I learned that my kidney needed to be surgically sliced into to remove the 3cm + stone. Pretty quick two day hospital stay but for two weeks after, it was like being crippled. Just sheer pain existing in trying to lie absolutely still. tl;dr: I’m an idiot and don’t ignore those kidney stones.
  10. I must have missed when the Chargers moved to the NFC and stopped being in direct competition for an AFC wildcard with the Bills. The forum is for Bills and NFL talk. Don’t be obtuse.
  11. You’re basing this off last year. Gordon had a hamstring injury entering the season last year. He looks noticeably better this year. That said, I think Gordon’s better suited to be an elite #2 WR. He’s sort of a low end #1. He’ll make some plays but I think going against an elite #1 CB like Tre should keep him relatively contained.
  12. I’m positive none of you guys have actually spent any significant time in Philly, but hey, keep making baseless attacks on places you have superficial knowledge of. One of the best cities in America.
  13. I mean, they also said that our 3-0 isn’t the same as other teams 3-0 and that if the Bills went 11-5 with this schedule it would really be more like 9-7. While they don’t want to hear blind pessimism, they aren’t riding unchecked hype.
  14. The Patriots defense was dominant today. The Jets had 105 total yards of offense. Their points were on a special teams fumble return and a Stidham INT return. Until the backup QB threw a pick six in garbage time, the Patriots were covering that huge spread.
  15. The Patriots offense has been streaky so far, going in spurts of total efficiency followed by absolute sputtering for a quarter at a time. Edelman is hurt. Michel and the running game hasn’t been that impressive. Josh Gordon has looked impressive, though, both with and without the ball. I’m interested to see Tre and Gordon match up. I think this game comes down to: a) Will JA play a consistent game free of hero ball mistakes? Will he finally connect on one of those deep overthrows? b) Playcalling/execution can’t go into their third quarter disappearing act. c) Does Edelman play?
  16. I really wish we went for it there.
  17. Who’s been critical of Tre? Sometimes, I really wonder where announcers get their info from.
  18. Gordon’s back in the game; he just caught a 28 yard pass. EDIT: hand/wrist injury might explain why he’s fighting the ball a bit.
  19. You can’t play scared. There’s plenty of time on the on clock to drive for a score. And at some point, the Bills will play competent offenses where we won’t be able to be so conservative. Might as well work some of the two minute kinks out now.
  20. Oh, please let the recovering Bengal be out of bounds.
  21. It feels like Mahomes and that offense play in a different league. No matter who they play, every drive it seems like he just heaves up a deep ball to a wide open receiver.
  22. Harbaugh going for it on 4&1 at their 29. Ballsy but I love the call.
  23. Rosen doesn’t look great and Miami is still abysmal but I have to give credit where it’s due, they look like a (still bad but) reasonably competent offense with him.
  24. I don’t think so. It’s week three, the Bengals probably aren’t as bad as they looked last week and we probably aren’t as good as people hyped after two weeks. I think we’re better than Cincy but the two teams aren’t far apart. It’ll be a dog fight and the o-line is struggling at the moment.
  25. Joe Mixon is half way to his season high rushing total already. Where are you, rush d?
