This was our best performance by offensive line
HamptonBillsfan replied to Niagara Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall
Unbelievable performance in a huge game. Didn't see that coming. -
McKenzie needed to have a game like this. He was a gadget guy and return man. Don't blame Sean if he inexplicably fumbled the kickoff against Indy and gave the indication he might be a fumbler. Now he showed resiliency and big time talent as a inside receiver. Let's see how Dabol uses him going forward. It's not as if we have a need at receiver. We have the best receiving corp in the AFC.

Who has the bigger impact: McKenzie or Kumerow?
HamptonBillsfan replied to ChicagoRic's topic in The Stadium Wall
Aaron Rodgers loves Kumerow and he has played in big games and produced. I think he will have opportunities and be big for us. -
Showdown with Pats is a judgment day for Sean McDermott, Bills
HamptonBillsfan replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
Their jobs are safe, but it creates doubt where there was high expectations after their breakout season. They were a few good plays away from a better record(Tenn,Tampa and NE),but at some point losing all the close ones puts a cloud over the team. -
Showdown with Pats is a judgment day for Sean McDermott, Bills
HamptonBillsfan replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is judgement day for the Bills organization. The ability to beat a good divisional opponent with the division on the line will shed light on our coaching staff and Beane's personnel decisions. I want to see physicality, discipline and a sense of urgency from these underachieving Bills. We are better than this team. Make this our line in the sand game. -
Dion Dawkins activated from Covid list
HamptonBillsfan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Now Dion, justify that Pro Bowl selection and shut down Judon+Co. If this gives Josh time in the pocket, it's pretty meaningful and the image of O-lineman playing out of position, especially after the Brown performance, is quite terrifying in the biggest game of the year. Bills 27 -17. -
It's like we're going by the seat of our pants and reacting instead of being proactive. Why is it so hard to get tests? We knew this strain was super transmittable
-
What are you an epidemiologist?. You have an opinion, that's all. Plenty of vaccinated players will miss games. Don't conflate people who have different views from your own with a lack of team loyalty. Are you questioning his effort on the field where he takes viscous hits and keeps coming. Russian troll farms? The majority of professional athletes are on Twitter. It's not personal, ok.
-
They need negative tests before practicing or playing. Why do you think all these games are rescheduled and the player's still aren't playing. You have a problem with Cole personally, get over it.
-
You can use social media but he can't? If he's not breaking team rules, he's fine.
-
Are you serious? 50 players tested positive for Covid Monday, most have been vaccinated. Games are being played with 3rd string QBs and 11 starters unavailable. Did you see the Browns play without their 1st and 2nd string QBs. NE has their top 3 receivers on Covid protocols. This is a problem league wide with protocols that are unworkable and will result in the competitive nature of the season being compromised. You're pointing your finger at 1 guy. More Bills will get Covid and it will be a war of attrition.
-
How so?. The team supports him, he plays hurt, and 76 grabs for 640 as a slot receiver is good production.
-
All well and good, but the poster indicated he was OK with McKenzie replacing Cole going forward because he wasn't having a good year.
-
Just so you know, Cole has 76 receptions for 640 yds with 33 1st downs. He's played hurt most of the games and is a leader on the team. McKenzie has 7 catches and a devastating unforced fumble against Indy, that turned the game on its head. This guy takes a lot of abuse from fans for his incredible production.
-
Why are you questioning Beasley's value to this team.He gets open all the time, he never drops anything and he's as good as any slot receiver in football. Ask Josh, who is the guy he trusts most. Diggs and Cole. Knox is coming on but he's got to do a lot more in big spots to compare his value to Cole. Don't use his Vax status against him, and please don't compare him to McKenzie. That destroys credibility.
-
Care to elaborate.
-
That's even more proof that's it's punitive to keep unvaccinated players out for that long.
-
Beasley is a victim of this omicron variant and protocols that will be adjusted to enable games to be played. 10 days to quarantine even with a negative test and this variant proven to be mild, shows an inflexibility in NFLmedical approach. They never acknowledge natural immunity or vaccinated and boosted players having the majority of positive tests. These players can return after one negative test and never be tested again. It makes no sense.

How to fix the reffing problem in the NFL
HamptonBillsfan replied to QB Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
The way to improve officiating is to discourage holding away from ball carrier and stop calling personal fouls on marginal QB hits and sideline plays. Also, remove officiating teams from competition if they disproportionately are way above the average amount of penalties called over the course of the last 1/4 of the season. This will have an immediate impact. -
No more excuses like weather for our team. Just go out and beat NE. Show the fans that we're still a factor in the tournament. NE has been the dominant force in the AFC east for 2 decades. We have been sleepwalking through this season. Beating the under 500 crowd doesn't reinforce confidence. Get it done against a good team and we can march into the playoffs with some momentum.

The most talented of all of them is Josh. Kelly's in the HALL and the KGUN revolutionized football. Flutie was so much fun and Kemp put the Bills on the map, with 2 championships. Some great QBs on this team. Loved them all.

How are we supposed to feel about this win??
HamptonBillsfan replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall
What a silly thread. The team ran the ball against a stout defense. Josh threw 3 TDs and our defense rushed the passer. Motor looked great. A 17 pt win coming off 2 tight, demoralizing losses. How should we feel? -
Good analysis. These guys are such positive thinkers, sometimes they overvalue the talent they bring in,and misjudge their ceiling. Josh overcomes most personnel mistakes, but as you so eloquently stated, to maximize his talents and protect him from injuries, the O-line must be fortified. A good back like Chubb or Harris would make us tough to deal with.

With The Exception Of The Colts Game We Could Be Undefeated.
HamptonBillsfan replied to Irv's topic in The Stadium Wall
Remember what Parcells said,"you are what your record says you are". If it was one game and you got bad calls, it's one thing, to be life or death in 5 games, your record is what you are.
