Offseason Trade Prediction: We acquire Saquan
HamptonBillsfan replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
Why would anyone want Barkley? He doesn't stay healthy, he makes more than we want to pay a RB, and he's an underachiever. -
I love some of you… but I hate this site right now

Pretty impressive little assessment. Much respect for that. -
A Positive way to look at last Sunday
HamptonBillsfan replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well put and absolutely the only way to get past this. -
Any objective observer who witnessed Allen's historic, superhuman performance the last 2 weeks must come away with the same conclusion (even Allen hater Nick Wright),Josh can play QB on a different level than anyone who ever played the position. If you're starting an NFL team ,unanimous GMs would say "Josh please"

Daboll and Frazier....have they run their course here?!?
HamptonBillsfan replied to Sweats's topic in The Stadium Wall
Frazier has worn out his welcome in every job after getting the team to a ceiling of being competitive. He's not aggressive enough and refuses to mKe adjustments. Dabol is good but he deserves a shot at a HC job. Josh makes players and coaches better. Dabol will realize that soon enough. -
Looks like the call to squib may not have made it to Bass
HamptonBillsfan replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's all BS. Sean is responsible under any circumstance for what Bass did. If he didn't confirm that Bass knew he had to kick the ball in the field of play, he's guilty of incompetence. What happened is that the wrong decision played out and resulted in an epic collapse. Sean has to own it. -
Ed Oliver must be retained. He is very effective and will get better and better. The pressure that we generated mostly came up the middle with Ed .
-
Don't delude yourself by accepting the loss as anything but an epic collapse by a coaching staff who thought the game was over. Sean, ST coach and Frazier played fast and loose with a loyal fanbase and one of the all time great and gutty QB performances that handed this conservative, defensive minded HC a ticket the SB. The 1st for this hungry football hotbed in 28 years. Shame on Sean, who answered the question of what the reasoning behind our approach to the 13 seconds was. "We just didn't execute " We deserve better.

Sean Payton is not coming here. His preference would be Miami or Dallas.

Brandon Beane Season Ending Presser Weds 1/27
HamptonBillsfan replied to cage's topic in The Stadium Wall
Listen, I know we're close but we can't start believing these phony statistical platitudes about being one of the top defenses. The defensive strategy doesn't fit our personnel. -
Brandon Beane Season Ending Presser Weds 1/27

Who said anything about a new coach SDfan boy. I said the defensive coaching schemes(Frazier's baby, withSean's approval)didn't work. You watched the games I mentioned right. Sean's not going anywhere, but without edge rushers who can actually have an affect on the passing game, we can't expect different results from this approach. -
Brandon Beane Season Ending Presser Weds 1/27
HamptonBillsfan replied to cage's topic in The Stadium Wall
Never mentioned coaching in that post. Why would you think that defense which allowed KC to score at will on every drive from the middle of the 4th qtr through OT would set us up to win anything. Our approach never changed, rushing 4 and giving free releases to Hill and Kelce, throughout the game. Our record against good offensive teams(Tampa, Tenn, Indy), was o and 3 with defense giving up 30+. Frazier and Sean are bend don't break proponents, and inflexible when defensive game plans don't work. We don't pressure big time QBs enough with our front four and they carve us up. If Sean doesn't change philosophy,we are counting on Josh to be Superman every game. Not a great formula. -
How many chances does McDermott have left?
HamptonBillsfan replied to Igotbills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I like Sean, but ownership cannot afford anymore historic breakdowns, short-circuiting incredible performances. Our fanbase deserve better in-game decisions and transparency regarding mistakes. Sean's playoff record has been OK, considering Josh's development. Going forward, with arguably the best pure QB talent in the NFL, his situational coaching will determine his ability to remain as our coach. My hope is he realizes getting to the SB requires bold and aggressive strategy. Coaching not to lose is not working. -
Should the Bills extend Edmunds?
HamptonBillsfan replied to Victory Formation's topic in The Stadium Wall
His agent would laugh at 10 or 11 million a year. His ceiling is high in a different system. The comparable LBs are making 15+ and are 5 yes older. -
What does Allen work on this summer?
HamptonBillsfan replied to Meatloaf63's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not much, but Palmer seems to improve Josh's mental approach to mechanics and game strategies. He's like a positive thinking psychological guide. What a great relationship for the franchise. -
Calvin Ridley...do they bills go all in!?
HamptonBillsfan replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall
Exactly, O-line, CB, RB in that order. Morse is probably gone and quality depth at O-line to protect the franchise is in order. -
Overvalued players that are effective against average offenses but cannot impose their will on top QB driven teams are the culprits. Our edge rushers are pedestrian and get no pressure in rush 4 scenarios. The corners lack depth and when White goes down, they're only average. The LBs are good but they are not involved in pressure packages enough to wreck a game, like Tampa,SF, NE. With Josh most games we'll have enough offense to overcome any deficiencies, but against teams we must beat later in the playoffs, game changing plays on defense will be necessary.

Isaiah McKenzie aka, Lil Dirty, sounds like he’s moving on
HamptonBillsfan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Kupp was merely that they were both dependable slot receivers. Obviously this year Kupp became #1 and had an MVP type season. I got inundated with Beasley haters after the comp. If you want a guy like Godwin, you're in a different stratosphere money wise. Williams will not be available. Trust and toughness along with availability means a lot more than age to winning football teams. Ask Rogers above demanding Cobb back,or Woods in LA. -

Just comparing the Kupp before this year. My sincere apologies. -

HamptonBillsfan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
He's not Kupp, great. I made the comparison because before he was a #1 receiver with Woods out and before Beckam came on, he was a clutch inside receiver, who got a lot of 1st down receptions. No he's a #1 receiver and had an all time MVP season. Before he had that great season, he was an Edelman, Welker, Beasley type slot receiver. Thanks. -

Forgetting the Kupp comparison, does it make you feel better denigrating a 10 year vet, who has produced and played hurt for our team and has helped make us one of the best teams in football. I guess your job as a personnel expert is to make personnel decisions. Perhaps you think Beane should have cut him after most of the contract had been paid. -

HamptonBillsfan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
He's just a guy. He had just under 1000 yds last year for a Division winner who went to the AFC championship. His career #s are similar to Kupps prior to this year. Kupp had a good year when they went to the SB, but otherwise similar. -
Isaiah McKenzie aka, Lil Dirty, sounds like he’s moving on
HamptonBillsfan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
I used Kupp as an example because he's a great inside receiver. He had a career, MVP type season and he is 4 years younger than Cole. His #s before this year were similar to Cole's. Remember, Woods went down and Beckam came in later and Kupp was targeted 15 times a game. -

HamptonBillsfan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Why do Beasley haters think they can replace good players, who work well with Josh, with any cheap FA or 3rd day draft choices. Kupp had a career year, especially after Woods went down and before Beckham came in. He's 5 years younger than Cole, but before this year they were similar. Without McKenzie, Beasley is the best option.
