  1. That was me with my 3 year old (my wife hates football...or rather hates what it does to me lol). He at one point said "daddy I don't like your team...change the channel". So I guess he is a huge reason we lost as well!
  2. If our defense is going to be majorly short-handed again, I think the hopeful return of Morse would be huge. If our O line performs better we can actually afford to be in a mild shoot-out if our D has a down day. Kind of tough to have the D have a down day AND have our O line under siege all day (which, in my opinion is a huge reason for the 17 point offensive outing yesterday (yes lots of mistakes, miscues, etc. as well)).
  3. Because my 3 year old wouldn't stop chatting me up during the game and I couldn't focus my energy on producing the win for us! My brother was also travelling (newly married so he is doing "married stuff" on weekends....I blame him. I'll never let this go.
  4. I gotcha. Hopefully we can get some guys back and go on a mini-run before the bye week. If we can pull off 3-0 before the bye we would have the tie breaker over Baltimore, Pittsburgh (if they somehow finished in a spot to compete for the one seed lol), and KC. Hopefully we don't drop another "should have won that" game this year and find ways to close out close ones.
  5. In defense of his post...its the Dolphins at 3-0 in 1st place in the division and conference...then a huge log jam at 2-1 with us right there. We play the Ravens and Chiefs in the next 3 weeks (2 of the currently 2-1 teams) and obviously get the Dolphins again. I think the team will be fine. We aren't 0-3. We're 2-1.
  6. That's a tough one. Probably not on a single player and more the cumulative effect of having so many guys out. I would like to think that if Hyde or Poyer had played, a couple of those deep balls would have been defended/incomplete. Might have been the difference in the game. Yeah I could go with that too. We clearly had issues up front and he sets the protections and handles the communication.
  7. Shoot really? Do you have a link? I have got to see that official somewhere.
  8. I think you misspelled "pathetic" in your thread title.
  9. He's a professional...football coach. He's not in kindergarten teacher doing this because some of the kids won't take naps. It's an emotional game and these guys put more time into their jobs in a week than most do in about a month. You're acting like a baby.
  10. Reminds me of the Bills win over NE in week 3 2011...both 2 and 0. Brady with 4 picks. And we had to kick winning FG at the buzzer. NE went to the Super Bowl that year and Bills I think went 5 and 11 after 3 and 0 start.
  11. I was thinking during the game that it really isn't an advantage for the home team either...the body can only take so much heat.
  12. We seriously need them to stop getting so injured and dehydrated and getting their brains cooked in 100 degree weather. Uggggghhhhh what is with these GUYSSS1!!23131113!#t5135!!1
  13. The Dolphins can easily lose on the road at Cincy, on a short week, after a game where their own players must be exhausted (as the Bills were) and the Bills can beat Baltimore tying them at 3-1 (yes Dolphins have the tie breaker but it's really an "incomplete" tie breaker as we still have to play them again).
  14. Yeah good point. But I guess it was "his back" that got injured. I've had back injuries and while it's been almost impossible to walk when it flares up...I've never wobbled like Tua did. He was basically out on his feet. If that had been boxing or MMA, it would have been a KO most likely.
  15. What would Tua even have to say to Allen? "Don't worry kid, you'll still have a bright future". "Hang in there pal, you guys are just getting started...you'll have your chance". The savvy veteran Tua with some sage advice for the upstart Kid. I can think of a couple. Having like 8 negative yardage running plays and having our O line getting almost no push.
  16. It also really exposed that we are just not as good with half our starters out.
  17. I would go even farther and say what team could even stay in the game with the level of injuries we had/have. Man I hate this board after a loss.
  18. Also, KC lost. Basically its the Dolphins at 3-0 and the rest of the division leaders no better than 2-1 (with the Bills in 2nd at 2-1). Many more games to play. I do think (which I know it doesn't work this way), if we were at full strength (minus Hyde) this might have been a huge win. I think the Bills dug as deep as they could considering the injuries and the heat.
  19. Agreed on the O line. They were under fire the entire game (even without the heat-related injuries). This just felt like one of those games where it wasn't clicking. I think this could be another game like the first Patriots game last year, where when they watch the film, they'll see how much they left on the field. Hopefully this is an early-season galvanizing point.
  20. Hard to really say that with a straight face. Yes, the Dolphins, a playoff contender, is better than the Bills without half of our starters. This was almost a perfect storm against the Bills and we still had a chance at the end. I would say the more fortunate team won today (not lucky...but fortunate from an injury standpoint).
  21. Dude, really? We went in missing 5 D starters and our starting center. Lost almost our whole O line (and some backups) to the heat. Had the ball at the end...needed maybe 2 more seconds and could have tried the game winning FG.
  22. Need to answer Allen. TDs only! Man should have had that last FG, FG before half. Maybe no TD from Miami earlier without the insane field position from the strip sack. Gotta find a way!
