    You got it ! Same here for me in Jr. High. Plus you had to wear a jock strap and no underwear on. The gym teachers had jock inspection. (circa 1972) Today, that be called cruel and inhuman treatment, but back then we didn't even question why we had to swim nude. The girls didn't.
