  1. I WAS watching on a 52" with HD and it looked like it hit the ground to me. Perhaps the video that the ref sees in the peep show device is more akin to that generated by bank and convienience store cameras.
  2. I didn't hear his number called, so he must have done better than Benny.
  3. Gandy let Covin talk right in on the sack and fumble. That play WAS the game. I say put in Peters and Preston.
  4. Do you mean a mistake by the left tackle who let the D End get by and blind side the QB?
  5. No 300 yard games in 37 games. 11 straight without a 200 yard game Bledsoe, JP, Holcomb. Williams, Mularky The only thing that has not changed in the past 3 years are the GM and the anemic play of the OL, and the GM doesn't get paid to play on Sundays.
  6. No matter whom he drafted he would have been skewered by someone on this board. The first two rounds of the draft are a crapshoot.
  7. Ditto. When an OL can not pass protect how can any QB have the time to allow a WR to get downfield. Blame it on whom you wish, but the bottom line is that the OL is not executing.
  8. I think your reference to a groin injury and the Vikings (aka The Love Boat) went right past most on this list.
  9. Naw, Flutie did. Only one guy can save a franchise.
  10. I think Moulds play on Sunday will get the attention of other teams. That should open up Evans, or when he returns should allow Parrish to sneak on the field under the radar.
  11. It can't be the coaches. They are inept.
  12. I think that with the intact OL in place yesterday and the ground game JP would have faired fairly well. People would rather blame the coaching and the GMs player selection rather than the simple fact that players must execute on the field. The OL was not executing under Losman.
  13. It also helps to have a complete starting OL.
  14. No, what he did was mask the problems with the OL.
  15. I heard Jim Fassel is still roaming around the Buffalo airport as a result of the president of his home country being ousted and his passport no longer being valid. Also, something about a tin can and some jazz musicians...
  16. What a difference an OL makes... DB isn't making you look, as you say, stupid. The Dallas OL is.
  17. Stats indicate that Peters also got a defensive assist, must have been on a kickoff.
  18. I agree with the thinking the change was more about making sure the team stayed within reach of the division leaders than it was about JP's individual play. JP looked like a first year starter behind a weak OL. Holcomb looked like an 11 vet behind a weak OL. He has seen more and was able to make something of it. The 2nd half the line started to crumble. I am afraid the Jets D will bring things back into prespective and that the problem is not with the QB position.
  19. I always find it interesting that injuries can be an excuse for how bad any other team is doing, but never for the Bills. Injuries across the Bills O and D lines have shaken things up, but somehow some still find the GM and coaches at fault.
  20. The team will not be able to "open up" the offense without better pass protection
  21. Shaw's first year: Comp 178 Att 321 Perc 55.5% Yards 2507 per comp 7.8 TD 10 INT 20
  22. Personally, you can't learn to drive a car sitting in the passenger's seat. You do not learn to drive on the highway driving back and forth in the driveway. JP's play is tied to the pathentic play of the OL and I do not see how changing QBs will make any difference, especially since KH is more of a pocket passer. I think that you will see JP back in during the 2nd half on Sunday in an effort to get a spark going.
  23. Some people really need to get a grip.
  24. You can not learn to drive sitting in the passengers seat.
  25. The implication is that fans think that managing and coaching an NFL team is much simpler than it really is, much like flying a plane.
