  1. You know I was waiting for somebody to finally post some feedback from a Lions fan. As we all know, Detriot football fans are the *most* knowledgeable and are the only ones *I* listen to. Saying that few QBs can come right in an win is as obvious of a statement as saying that few rookie or second year pitchers throw 300Ks and win 20 games.
  2. This would not have been a given. Add JP into the mix and there could have been a run of QBs early in the draft and none would have been available at the 22nd pick.
  3. TD doesn't suit up on gameday. He can only see the potential in a player. The COACHES need to be able to get the players to perform to their potential and the players have to perform on the field. GW was unable to get the players to perform and that caused a 3 year setback.
  4. I have a friend that lives north of Lancing who comments that housing costs in Ann Arbor are at a premium right now.
  5. Since training camp and preseason have yet to begin, my confidence is the same. Ask again at the end of Aug.
  6. No gas. I just find that speculating on "what could have happened" scenerios is a waste of my time and energy. All draft choices are a crap shoot and it takes 3 years in most cases to find that out.

  8. The interesting thing to me is that regular posters on this board are willing to give players the benefit of the doubt because of their knowledge level, but are unwilling to give coaches and GMs the same.
  9. Tom Sestak Mike Stratton Key defensive players in the mid-60's run
  10. What amazes me that there are fans are so skilled that they are able to rank the success of the off season before the team actually steps on the field. These are the same skilled individuals who can rank a draft without ever seeing the draft choices play. What talent.
  11. 7 Ravens on the list. Only 2 Patriots... Hmm.... Which is the "dynasty" team again?
  12. If you do she will never stop talking, which is in effect her super power.

  16. Those who have bought into this thinking are likely those who also see the Virgin Mary in a salt stain in an underpass.
  17. Just a shout out to the driver of a Camry who beeped his horn and held up a Bills blanket as he passed me this AM on Rt 670 in Columbus after noticing my BFLO BLS plates....in case he is a TBDer....
  18. Never quite understood why people HAD to see the first showing, other than to say they did, to impress people, I guess. Who remembers, or cares? If I go a week or month later it would still be the same movie that people stood in line and up until midnight+ for.
  19. Having a skill at drafting "starters" is a falicy. The draft is a crap shoot. Teams should be happy to have 1-2 players from any given draft start at some point in their careers. Besides, how can one rate any draft before the players take the field? Let us, instead, look at the 2003 draft. McGahee - starter. Kelsay - started 9 games in 2004. Crowell - special teamer McGee - special teams standout. Decent corner. Aiken - coming on at the end of 2004, likely challenging for 3rd WR in 2005. Sobinski - still hanging around Sape - still hanging around Haggan - special teamer
  20. Sure, the idiot box threads will stop when the threads suggesting to stop other threads stop.
