  1. Neither TC and MM were on the field on Sunday. The execution on the field yesterday was just poor and the players are to be blamed for the loss. Neither TC nor MM threw 3 INTS, missed tackles, and couldn't block.
  2. Um. Uh. Because the OL couldn't run block yesterday to save their lives?
  3. Not to sound like I discriminating against his age, but Wolf is 67. I do not see how a guy pushing 70 could lead this team in the long term.
  4. The differrent between a bafoon and genius is razor thin. When Belichek was the HC of the Browns all we heard in Ohio was how he the team had no identity. What was the GM thinking in hiring a first time HC? We heard how his team played with no pride. We heard about his lack of personmality and fire on the sidelines. They ran him out of town. Enough said.
  5. And JH has done what with NO that would make anyone think he weould bring the Bills back to life? He took NO to the playoffs only his first year, and while never winning less than 7 games (well except this year), this will be their 5th year in a row without being in the playoffs. Not much of an improvement folks. The reality is that there are not that many proven Head Coaches out there. The talk of retreads like JJ is just insane.
  6. Based on this thread, people are generally happy with the talent on this team.... Interesting....
  7. He won one SB during a weak year for the league. I am not impressed with him as a HC.
  8. Barry is 60 years old and has never coached in the pros at any level. While Barry is likable enough, such a move would set the team back another 3 years. At least Nick Saban coached in the pros.
  9. Interesting post. One thing that always got to me was that a tipped or deflected pass is counted as an INT. Once it touches another player it should be a loose ball and no longer the responsibility of the QB. Additionally, when a QB is sacked scrambling with the ball, and it is obvious that he is not going to throw, it is a sack not lost yards rushing.
  10. What does it say when an "average" back like WM is poised to break 1000 yards?
  11. He has yet to make the playoffs. Let's then see if he can and then repeat his success next year before we start that 20-20 hindsight talk. Besides, their team has been bad for so many years that they are stacked with high draft choices and a least a few should have panned out by now
  12. What is worse than revisionist history is 20-20 hindsight.
  13. Does it matter? If TD is the GM then both of them will be busts.
  14. Those stats always makes them ripe for the picking. Going into last weeks game all we kept hearing is that Trent Green had 2 INTs all year and had 160 completions with a pick. KC was averaging 21+ points a game.
  15. The only thing it would prove is that the draft is a crap shoot. How do you explain McGee, McGahee, Evans, Clements, and Schobel? He gets no credit for those picks?
  16. What is truly amazing is that some of the people on this board are not pro scouts o0r coaches by now. The ability to judge talent on a handful of plays is just scary.
  17. I believe his leg was rolled on during the play that put KH out of the game.
  18. The type of cursery review you describe does not provide any real statistical analysis of their performace. In doing research it is not standard to observe and make an analysis in isolation. You would have to first define what a missed block is and apply it consistantly. You would then have to do a TIVO review of other OLs to see how many missed blocks they have and then make a comparison. You also use the rushing game as your single indicator of OL success. You would also have determine how many offensive plays there were and what percentage were missed since the number of missed blocks would be preportional to the total number of plays. You would have to deduct plays that resulted in penalties that nullified the play. This is not to say that I do not think this line sucks, because it does.
  19. I would trade the pick. 1st picks overall, especially QBs, rarely pan out
  20. The curse only applies to players that the Bills drafted...
  21. I do not hear people giving TD any credit for drafting McGee, McGahee, Peters, Evans, Clements, Schobel, and getting TKO... One can not predict injuries to players like Parrish, Everett, Ron Edwards, Kevin Thomas, or even Mike Williams. If we were Vikings fans we would be getting on TD for drafting Culpepper since he should have known his knee would be blown out. BTW, where have all the Rian Lindell haters gone?
  22. I would suspect the Raiders and/or the Dolphins will take a look at TO.
  23. I think the music and talk radio stations are about equal between the two systems. XM has NHL. MLB, and College Football. Sirius has NFL and soon to be NASCAR. Personally, I TIVO Sunday Ticket and the races and watch them while MLB and hockey are radio friendly sports that I listen to on the road. XM has Bob Edwards and Sirius will have Stern. The sports contracts are likely to change hands back and forth and will go from exclusive to non-exclusive. So if you take Sirius for the NFL, don't be surprised if XM gets it when the contract ends. XM and Sirius are equal in terms of hardware and technology. If you like Stern, take Sirius. If you are an NPR fan, take XM. Otherwise flip a coin. Don't be surprised if the two systems merge in the next two years.
  24. I was particularly touched by the fact that he went back into the car fire to save those dog toys...
