  1. And how well has throwing behind the sticks worked for us? Like watching Tyrod again...
  2. Who goes in at QB if Anderson goes down Sunday? Honestly, I think that's the only reason Peterman's still on the roster. Once Allen is healthy, Peterman is likely gone.
  3. I think you misinterpreted my post. Rereading it, I can see how. I think Tyrod is a passable backup, nothing more. I think Cleveland keeps him for that reason. I was glad to see Tyrod's mediocre play continue in Cleveland, so the people here that blamed the players around him no longer have that excuse.
  4. As Buffalo is demonstrating, you don't start a rookie QB without having decent backup. Taylor's not getting traded. Some bit of validation in seeing Tyrod continue to be Tyrod after changing teams.
  5. I think a lot of people are missing the original point. They were arguing that Eli did terribly his first season, but a lot of people were willing to give him a pass that season, yet four games in, people are already willing to write Allen off now. The original post has nothing to do with Eli or the Giants this season. It was comparing Eli and Allen's first seasons, and how people reacted to them.
  6. I think this would be a horrible mistake. I still think there's a chance they'll do this, though. "The Process".
  7. Homestly, with our WR corp, I say kick the tires. Even if he just matches our current receivers, maybe he'll have some chemistry with Allen. It also sends a message that what's going on right now at WR isn't acceptable. Everyone drops passes. I think most of us remember a certain Pittsburgh game and a not-to-shabby Bills receiver dropping a wide open game winner...
  8. So...lemmie be sure I got this. Allen: After three games is definitely, without fail a bust! Three games is enough to evaluate a quarterback. Rosen: Sure he doesn't look good now, but you have to wait a few years before you can judge him!
  9. People already writing Allen off obviously never saw Aikman or Eli's first seasons. Back on topic, Rodak is an idiot. This is a guy that last year said the Bills' season was over before it started, then we broke the drought. That being said, as much as it pains me to admit, I agree with him. Benji is a waste, and we're not making a championship run, so why not give Shady a chance elsewhere, assuming the price is right. Buffalo's offensive line is an outright tire fire that is not helping Allen or Shady, and it's not getting fixed this year.
  10. Power Rankings are click-bait. It's popularity contests mixed with a few intentional head-scratchers just to prompt comments. Browns are the darlings of the NFL, have been since the offseason. People want them to do well with Mayfield, so they spike up. Buffalo is supposed to be the new Browns, the hard luck team. Therefore they only rose a little. The rankings really don't reflect how good they think the teams actually are. It's all about fitting a narritive laid out before the season began. Unless it's another blowout, don't expect the Bills to rise much even with a win over the Pack.
  11. If you give Cleveland a kicker, you have to give Pittsburgh one too. At which point the Steelers win in OT because Tyrod threw a pick trying to get into field game range at the end of regulation, and Pitt's kicker had the earlier OT attempt. Well, I tend not to comment on Tyrod. He'd gone. Buuuuuut, when someone puts up a post like the OP...they're just asking for it.
  12. Lo and behold what Tyrod has accomplished this season...an 0-1-1 record. Because when the game's on the line, he still can't get it done, any more then he could in Buffalo. The guy that can't win a game that's close late...still can't win a game that's close late. Repent!
  13. Actually, that's the perfect quote. UNTIL we have hard evidence he did it, I'm not going to condemn the man.
  14. Translation: I have been calling Allen a bust. Don't you dare give him quality reveivers capable of proving me wrong!
  15. *Gives OP a goat for opening yet another Mahomes thread with others active*
  16. I mentioned that several times last week, actually. Because lying about medical issues to get out of contracts is A-OK.
  17. Sincerely ...I do not think it means, what you think it means... ?
  18. He retires, then he shouldn't count against our cap. And Buffalo better not do anything crazy like cutting him...thereby letting him keep the money and find another team. Did that with Cogs, and with this being equally strange, could set a dangerous precident.
  19. Sooo...you don't think the quality of players around each QB matters? C'mon, I really wanna hear you say it. Go on, make a fool out of yourself. ?
  20. Well, that explains it. The D actually looked competant out there. Please McD, for Allen's sake, keep control of the D.
  21. He was a project. And he wasn't given enough time to bake in the oven. I liked what I saw. Still areas that need work, but that's why he's got another 14+ games to develop. He was never meant to light up the league this year. This year is to set him up to do so next season. I don't get the negativity. Rook has a horrid line, terrible receivers, and still looks promising in his first start. I honestly think his biggest critics here are bashing him because they're upset we didn't get Mahomes or Darnold instead.
  22. Mahomes is in a race car, Darnold is in a Ferrari, Allen is in a Chevy Aveo. Race the three, then say Allen is a bad racer and a terrible pick to drive. Got it. You cannot judge the three QBs in a vacuum. You need to look at the team around them. So, the rookie QB in his first start with a seive for an o-line and receivers that lathered their gloves with butter *didn't* throw for 300 yards and 4 TDs? Well, guy's obviously a bust. Just look at how well the QBs who have a real team around them played. >.<
