  1. No, it comes down to division record. The week 17 games would give the Bills the tiebreaker. Bills would be 5-1, Pats 4-2.
  2. Strangely, tonight's game is meaningless in regards to the AFCE title. Win or lose tonight, BUF has to win their next two, and NE has to lose to MIA. Even if we lose tonight, the Pats don't lock up the east.
  3. If we win tonght, we clinch a wild card. With the Titans' loss, would a win tonight clinch the #5 seed (barring winning the AFCE, of course)?
  4. Disturbing trend with AB. Players trying to dictate where they go, looking to sidestep the system.
  5. Miami has split with NE each of the last two years. A Dolphins win is unlikely, but not impossible. Dalton and the Bengals did us a solid two years ago, no reason to think they couldn't again. Not holding my breath, but not ready to completely write it off.
  6. NE doesn't care. They want one last ring so everyone can ride off into the sunset happy. Any penalties given for this will take effect next season, after mission accomplished.
  7. It's not just Josh, though. The offensive line was a sieve early on. All-around the offense looks out of sync until later in the game.
  8. A lot of games this season it seems like the offense starts slow, then gets better until they click. Yesterday reminded me a lot of the New England game. I felt like if we had one more quarter, we could have won, given how they were playing at the end. Sadly, we did not have another quarter. We hit the field in shambles, and by the time we hit stride it was too late. And it's killing us. It's keeping us from rolling low-quality opponents early, and it's costing us dearly against the heavyweights. So, my question is, why do you think that is? Why is the Bills' offense stale at the start, and why does it take as long as it does each game for them to hit stride? Right now they're like a flourescent bulb, flickering intermittently until they finally hum to life some time later. Is it coaching? Weekly game plans? Personnel?
  9. Nobody is assuming anything. We're discussing scenarios to win the division, that's all.
  10. This is like a train wreck in slow motion. 1st and Goal inches away...ugh...
  11. 7 points off a fumble, 7 points gifted by the refs.
  12. As pivitol a play as that was, why not challenge?
  13. Whelp, refs just gave the birds the game.
  14. Anyone still think our receiving corp is fine?
  15. Knox misses a key block and now drops a key pass. Not a good game for him...
  16. Before the draft, people were talking up Rosen. If he ended up lighting it up, we could discuss potential mistakes. Someone many draft experts thought was better was passed over. However, precious few people tagged Lamar as a star prospect. We took Allen over a qb many considered worse. Since McBeane did not have a crystal ball, no, this could not be called a mistake in any sense. That being said, I'm still happier with Allen.
  17. I can see the point, but you gotta realize in this day and age saying something like that isn't gonna end well.
  18. Marrone did good things with a bad franchise. Ralph's death allowed him to trigger the contingency clause in his contract to leave while stilo getting paid. He thought his success story with the Bad News Bills would make him a hot commodity, and he'd get a better head coaching gig. He rolled the dice, and it blew up in his face.
  19. Rt is "Right time"? I think? Maybe? ...my head hurts... ?
  20. They beat NE and San Fran. I have no issue with the opening spread. I think the Bills can challenge them, but totally see why Vegas went with the number it did.
  21. Um...I clicked the link and...actually a lot of respect for Allen. I see nothing to get upset over. Yes, they're homers, we're no better...but remember the best look they've had of Allen was when we played them, and the ultra-safe Allen they saw was indeed unremarkable, and not the Allen we're seeing now.
  22. Hasn't Miami beaten NE once each of the past two seasons? Improbable is not impossible.
