Anyone else as giddy as I am about how the OC is calling this game?

You can't expect miracles. He's game-planning on a short week against the Jets' D. That's why I would have preferred this a week earlier for a long week of prep against Denver, but here we are. In other words, I'm really hoping for good things. But also realize you can't judge the new guy based just on tomorrow. I'm more just looking for progress and hoping the Bills can pull off wins until the bye.

This aged so, so poorly. 🤣 Pattern recognition, people. We went through this exact same scenario after the Green Bay game last season. The concerns expressed (that got the people saying them mocked) were later validated. And this season everything played out exactly the same as last season. I really wanted to be proven wrong, but the signs were there, clear as day to anyone with their eyes open.

It will take more then one game to restore my confidence in this team, no matter the outcome.

I honestly think McD could make a living as a coach that brings teams out of the dumpster fire and moves on.

McD is the Tyrod Taylor of coaching. Good enough to get you to the playoffs. Good enough to keep you from having a terrible record, but not good enough to take you all the way. We needed him uniquely to drag us out of the drought, and I will always be thankful for that, but he just can't get us past the hump, he's lost the team and left Josh a mental mess.

Show me a game where this happens. This situation, needing the TD, where someone about to run it in kneels instead. Seriously, has this happened? If you need a FG, sure. But not when you need a TD.

I didn't watch at all. Just peeked occasionally at the GameCast on espn.com. And I'm glad, b/c I do not need the stress and anger I would have had watching it. I want McD and Dorsey gone. Like now. Don't care who else on the staff is gonna fill interm HC, OC and DC. Get them out. Fire them out of a cannon. Yeet them into the sun. So many wasted opportunities this year, and now Josh is broken. Bring on the purge.

It can be both. To everyone saying injuries don't matter, well, why play our starters all game? We should be making line-changes like in hockey. Our backup QB should be taking half the snaps to keep Allen fresh. Does all this sound silly? Yes! Because backups usually aren't as good as starters. To claim our injuries are not a problem, or not a factor, is just blatently stupid. Having said that, yes, there are more problems here then just injuries. The offense is unoriginal, uninspired, unable to adapt and now figured out by the rest of the league. Anyone that thinks all the Bills' woes are completely the fault of only one of the two things listed above needs to pay closer attention.

The key is this... It's okay to be optimistic. Just don't attack people who aren't. This entire thread started out as "We're 4-2, are people really complaining?". Some people said yes, and explained why. Then others laid into them, telling them how ridiculous they were being and attacking them for even suggesting there may have been cracks forming. Given where we are now, I think it's obvious the critics may have been on to something. Don't you? The problem wasn't just in being optimistic. That's fine, and I can certainly respect that. The problem was in attacking those who tried to voice (since proven valid) concerns.

Actually, people were upset that other people jumped all over them for having the audacity to suggest there were points of concern despite being 4-2. Those people are now pointing out that the aforementioned concerns were since proven perfectly valid and those people that blasted them for it now look foolish.

I thought it was 2-1. Didn't we beat them Burrow's rookie year?

If they want even a shot of salvaging the season this needs to happen right now. We got Denver coming up. It's the perfect time to do this.

I really hate to say it, but the league is starting to become truly unwatchable. Between the European games being a disaster, to absolutely horrific officiating all-around. It's obvious these games are being "nudged" by the NFL. This season they've just stopped trying to hide it.

Yeah, but the Jets were worn down from all those run plays. The runs, even though everyone knew they were running, were netting yards at the end there. The weather was terrible and the kicker already missed one. All things being equal, yes, you kick. But in this specific situation it was a mistake, and they got torched for it.

Wow, Daboll needs to grow a pair. You have one of the best RBs, you need one 🤬 yard, and if you fail you still pin them deep. Instead, you hand it over to a FG kicker that already missed and watch him shank it. Then you get the ball in OT, a situation where, ya know, you need points, and you refuse to let your QB throw a meaningful pass...even on 3rd and 20! What did he think was going to happen? What was the endgame here? Honestly, if you were going to go so conservative on offense that you imploded into a black hole, why did you even take the ball in OT? Defer. Kick it off, make the Jets go a whole lot farther and hope your defense can force a mistake and win it for you. I just...what a string of idiot coaching decisions.

I was going to say this, at least regarding taking the helmet off. Once the helmet was off though, it looked like an intentional swing.

This is a distraction they don't need. Why would they sign off on this?
