Do the Jets honestly have a better roster? Statistics say no. Their vaunted defense was no better than the Bills and the Bills lost 1 whole starter. Offensively Are Josh Allen, Steff Diggs, and James Cook better than Aaron Rogers, Breece Hall, and Garrett Wilson? Ah no they are not. Is Dawson Knox better than Tyler Conklin? Yes Is Gabe Davis better than Allan Lazzard? I’d actually say yes. Olines are both crappy so Bills are probably 2-3 games better than the Jets.

The amount of Super Bowls Aaron Rogers has been to since 2010 is the same as Josh Allen and that’s with home field advantage several times

Of Bills players they drafted… Sammy Watkins I’m the first to admit after watching him beat Ohio State himself I thought The Bills had a true once every 5 years kinda receiver. Didn’t work out that way. The league… there’s been so many but I’d go with Peter Warwick from Florida State for people old enough to remember him.

One thing I will say in Whaleys defense if he knew he had a QB like Allen he would have bent over backwards to get him skill talent. Beane and his head coach are defense first guys they kinda use the Green Bay Packers model under Aaron Rogers the last 5 years.

His high draft capital and free agent signings have been heavily defense oriented. They just expect Josh to work miracles with the supporting cast and line. Player for player on that oline would any of these guys start for the chiefs or eagles?

Florio’s take isn’t wrong his belief is that you have a coach and GM who are defense first guys it’s just their way… and you have an all world QB who realizes since Beane barring the Diggs trade is reluctant to use high assets to help you.
