1/23 Bills Media Availability - Coverage
78thealltimegreat replied to Beck Water's topic in The Stadium Wall
Oh I agree they definitely need more imagine Deandre Hopkins with Josh Allen 🙄 Oh I agree he definitely needs help but if he has a problem with one the best QBs in football not throwing him the ball enough let him goto Arizona with Kyler he might be on blood pressure medication by the 3rd game -
Oh I agree they all have qualities that Sean is looking for but judging by his picks I don’t know what those qualities are

1/23 Bills Media Availability - Coverage

If you remember Josh’s epic performance in the playoffs last year Vs KC very little was thrown to Diggs who was getting visibly upset that Davis was catching everything till Josh threw the 2 point conversion to him. He is a hothead Minnesota got tired of the guy for a reason. I thought about this ask the owner of the Cardinals if he’d do Deandre Hopkins for Steff Diggs straight up. Cause I would -
The question about Sean Peyton is he reportedly wants front office control. Terry certainly has the money but would he be willing to cut Beanes authority as well.

Diggs vs. Josh: Sideline Disagreement?
78thealltimegreat replied to Nextmanup's topic in The Stadium Wall
Let’s see Josh is 6’5 237 and can deadlift nearly 500 lbs…Steff Diggs is 6’0 194…I really commend Josh for not getting up and saying how many times do I throw to you…next time you get in my face and try to make a fool out of me on National Television I’m not tossing footballs I’m tossing you in the stands But I’ll give Steff a pass…if he does it again we have a Minnesota situation on our hands -
Free Agents and Offseason Situation
78thealltimegreat replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is nothing getting Josh to restructure alone can free up to 25 million as they just kick his deal and spread money out down the road it’s not like they need another QB anytime soon. -
Diggs has suction cups for hands but isn’t a run after the catch kinda guy. Nobody on the Bills scares any defense that if Josh dumps the ball off to them they will do anything after the catch. They need a receiver with speed and hands badly. They also need a receiver where Josh can throw up a ball to go get a contested catch. I’m fine with Diggs and Shakur and maybe Beasley for his last year but they have to seriously upgrade at least two receiver spots.

How many Josh Allen prime years do they want to waste?
78thealltimegreat replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall
You are correct their big oline move in the offseason was aging Roger Saffold on a one year deal -
You are correct how two first round picks in Oliver and Rousseau…and two second round picks in AJ and Boogie couldn’t get any pressure on a team with 3 backup lineman. Is something they are having a field day with.

That’s what I fear Beane is a Carolina Panther disciple. He built this team like his old Carolina days mediocre offensive talent masked by a great QB at the time in Cam Newton. So they could load up on D. The same model is being used in Green Bay now and in reality being used here. Brandon Beanes big off season move to protect Josh was Roger Saffold on 1 year deal but he added a bunch of defensive free agents.
-
I have my eyes on Beane he has relied for 3 years on Josh making mediocre receivers and olinemen look better than they are while he gets these defensive fantasties in the draft and free agency. This has to change

So what is the first coach or domino to fall?
78thealltimegreat replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
I really don’t care if people pick the Bills last in the division. Maybe have everyone rag on this team the entire off season so Beane actually does something -
He is very much style wise like Elway but Elway did not a win a Super Bowl till his 14th year in the league. Someone in that front office has too see that Bills need a different philosophy heck hire Kyle Shannahans distant freaking cousin at this point

Is McDermott Really Marty Shottenheimer in Disguise?
78thealltimegreat replied to Barnaby Wilde's topic in The Stadium Wall
His press conference yesterday he just was a matter a fact nonchalant. Last year after the first Pats loss in the wind game he was a much more fiery guy. I think he’s just too comfortable with his job. Like he knows he’ll never be fired type a vibe. -
Remember the Bengals, Ravens, Chargers, and Jaguars all have QBs who will be paid significantly higher then Josh…his 43 million which is only 3 million a year more then Dak Prescott will seem like a bargain in two years

There was nothing fancy they just got beat
78thealltimegreat replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Which is what I’m referring to the three times it was a one score game 7-0 …14-7, 17-10….when they needed a stop the Bengals just lined up and rammed it down the middle of the D nothing fancy Mixon was averaging 6 yards a carry -
Franchise in trouble- Josh Allen has regressed
78thealltimegreat replied to RoscoeParrish's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dude you’re a dolphins fan worry about tua -
Figured after settling down a bit I’d rewatch the game. The bengals are a solid team but only ran one or two wrinkles and Burrow made some nice throws just a better Tua in this game. The difference they were just physically manhandling the dline. They just lined up and knocked the daylights out of the front seven. For those that remember this game was reminiscent of the Titans game a few years back during Covid years. Where they just lined up and clocked the defense. In other words the base nickel defense just ain’t working anymore.

Beane’s mediocre draft record
78thealltimegreat replied to Shanahan's Horseshoe's topic in The Stadium Wall
There is no defending him after that game yesterday. None of his draft picks on D showed up
