Would you resign Edmunds or a tackle?
78thealltimegreat replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
So let me get this straight if your QB who is one of the best players in football doesn’t restructure just cut him outright? I had no idea Bill Belichick had a twobillsdrive account I don’t think Brandon Beane is listening but hey you get an A for effort 👍 -

It’s the Spotrac projected number based on position and production here see yourself https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/tremaine-edmunds-25111/market-value/ -
Interesting discussion from Joe on WGR this morning where according to analysts a 4 year deal is about 44 million for Tremaine which the Bills can definitely afford… Or would you be ok with going after someone like a Mike McGlinchey in San Francisco who is roughly the same contract over 4 years and with other decisions in San Fran likely to hit the open market he would definitely solidify RT…but LB being a priority in the draft. I like Tremaine but man I’d sleep a little easier not playing a rookie or Brown on Josh’s other side.

Think Diggs is yelling at Josh now wait till they get a legit number 2 receiver who won’t drop ever other pass like Mr Davis

Man I respect the detail but you could have wrapped this up in about 3 or 4 paragraphs… Mcdermott and Frasiers scheme is too easy to gameplan against anymore. Josh needs help with 2 more receivers and two more linemen Beane is finally getting pressed about his draft decisions and it really is a make or break year for him. There ya go -
Bengals will be the team to beat for years to come

The thing about Dallas though they hit absolute grand slams on their defensive picks as in they have home grown playmakers on all levels of D…Beane has had solid hits on Oliver and Rouseau but his misses are glaring right now…the jury is out on his 2022 draft right now -

Cowboys have a guy making as much as Allen they seem to have no problems having talent around him. As long as you have the QB you can always rebuild and retool. This would require Beane actually drafting well. I have my doubts with his love of tweener defense ends and RBs the offense doesn’t use. -

In Dallas Jason Garrett -
Allen is never at fault for this offense since any other qb not named Mahomes would likely have lost more games with the crap around him. It’s more likely they bracket Diggs every snap and force him to throw to Davis and Knox. Dawson is ok but throwing it to Davis is like throwing to someone in the XFL

McDermott isn’t going to hire a coach who is a threat to his job…if he hires a young up and coming OC and the defense goes belly up at the end of the season like it does every year under McDermott going back to the 16-0 collapse in Houston…someone will be the fall guy and it would most likely be him. Sean is very protective of his spot Leslie and Ken are absolutely no threat to his employment and he likes it that way. -
2023 Salary Cap numbers released

A doable number some dead weight on this roster that can be cut and some deals restructured not shabby putting it in perspective the up and coming Jaguars are in worse cap shape -

I disagree the Cowboys almost beat the Eagles in Philly with Cooper Rush…this is on Mike McCarthy who is looking to keep his job and is making Kellen Moore the scapegoat for losing in Frisco -

McCarthy wants to be the play caller as he honestly believes he can fix Daks issues. Moore is a great young mind. Moore working with Josh would be something but McDermott would never hire him as he would be a threat to his job. Sean only wants assistants who are no threat to his employment -
Oline is currently 26th in the league they aren’t average they are horrible
-
Josh Allen makes this one of the best teams in the AFC the pro football focus grades about how good he is with the crud he plays with is utterly amazing. If we can upgrade the oline and add 2 WRs or 1 TE and 1 WR. We can beat anyone in any stadium. Yesterday showed the Chiefs have no more talent then the Bills on D in many spots less…but what they do have is a terrific coordinator who maximizes their talent. This off season is on Beane and McDermott as these two because of Josh Allen have gotten a little too comfortable with their jobs…now they have a little pressure which is good
