Pegula jet has been in South Carolina for the Clemson pro day. On its way next to Auburn pro day...

I disagree with this. I dont think Sanders excels at the scramble and improvise game. Or at being a 3-4th option get open guy. I have always viewed him more as a timing route guy that you throw the ball to a spot and he will be there. Or that you hit on the quick slant. That has been his game the last few years at least. I see him being utilized more on the designed plays to get the ball out quick. Think first drives of the game or on short yardage passing plays.

Breshad Perriman on a minimum deal. Your speed guy. A ton of other WR's that could be had on a year prove it deal if not getting what they hoped for - Galloway, Fuller, Samuel, JuJu, Diggs/Sanders/Beasley/Davis (Kumerow, Hodgins, Gentry, Williams fighting for a spot or two).

2020 Bills v 2021 Bills Roster Changes

Updated - so mods can pin -
Well there you have it. Wish I was wrong. Decent amount of money to spend and would rather overpay for a bigger need like TE or DL.
-
I think this will be more $ than people think. This FO wanted him last year. They tend to have their favorites and go after them. I am betting $5-6M+ per. Fits a need though, but not my first choice. Now DE, TE, DT, CB...

Bills FA Strategy - Bargain Hunting
ngbills replied to Weatherman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Which is why he got a $2.5M deal with only $1M guaranteed. Worth the risk as a #3/#4 speed receiver. You can give it a year or even cut bait sooner and does not cost much. -
Will be updated as they happen: Adds: WR: Sanders, Powell, Stevenson RB: Breida QB: Trubisky TE: Hollister OL: Hart, Douglas, Lamp, Doyle, Brown, Anderson DL: Lotulelei, Obada, Rousseau, Basham LB: Lee, Adams DB: Wildgoose, Hamlin P: Haack Subtractions (incl unsigned free agents): OL: Nsekhe, Winters, Adams WR: Brown, Roberts TE: Kroft, Smith RB: Yeldon QB: Barkley DL: Jefferson, Murphy LB: Phillips DB: Norman, Marlowe P: Bojorquez

Though he was a decent inexpenive option as well. -
Gronk Considered signing with Bills
ngbills replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That is where I was going. And there are countless posts saying 1) Bills dont have $ 2) Bills dont need anyone 3) Bills only want bargains 4) Not the process and any other excuse for a guy signing elsewhere. -
Gronk Considered signing with Bills

The Bills wanted him. Which is a good thing. Tired of all the posters coming with this the Bills dont want or need to sign anyone. -

Gronk Considered signing with Bills

So much for the "this is the Bills way". We got turned down by Watt, Gronk and I am sure some others will come out. At least it makes me feel better knowing they are looking to make moves. -
Not sure I get the cap love? We have a low cost QB and no huge contracts on the books. Yet we are approaching free agency like our hands are tied. And I dont want to hear but we signed Milano, Feliciano and Williams. We also cut Jefferson, Brown and didnt resign Kroft, Murphy and some others. Not rocket science. I actually think are roster is flawed in that we have a ton off average players at overpriced contracts - Star, Addison, Butler, Klein, Matakevich. I am not saying we should be up in arms, they are doing an ok job. Just not saying they are genius.

Folks still happy just competing for a playoff spot... -
Cam throwing to two capable TE's is much more dangerous than Cam needed to throw downfield to WR's.

Beane created the Bill B meltdown yesterday
ngbills replied to Paul Costa's topic in The Stadium Wall
Beane created? Yeah right. Pats have owned us since most on this board have been alive. Got to win more than won year to say this kind of nonsense. Pats think they can win the division next year. They were 7-9 in a tank year and have added a ton of pieces. I still think we are the better team but would not be surprised to see us both at 10-3 battling for the division late in the year. -

We got rid of two guys... Says Morse, Star, Murphy, Kroft, Addison, Butler, Jefferson. Not huge contracts but no bargain hunting. -
NE has won the division how many times the last 20 years? We got to win it more than once before we think we are the powerhouse. NE is going all in because they think they can catch us. Not because they are scared of us. That is ridiculous. If they thought they had no chance they would load up on draft picks and rebuild.

Yannick - 2/$26m is not bad.

Predict the Bills first free agent signing
ngbills replied to Bag of Milk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I check all the top free agent lists for anyone from Carolina and could not find anyone I wanted. So I guess its down to Kawann Short, Tre Boston, and Trai Turner. -
Hendrickson? Reddick? Ingram? Clowney in 4 months?
-
Why is improving misinterpreted as not wanting continuity? We cut brown. We cut Jefferson. Kroft and Murphy are gone. What about continuity? You can have both.
