  1. Just because you have a plan, doesn't mean it will go as planned. Thats why people can't predict things. There are any number of things that could alter the plan. We both agree thats what makes it fun. It's semantics we're disagreeing on.
  2. Thats why the OP said "appearance of a plan." The difference here is that the strategy is clear base on the moves...whereas before there was no discernible plan. I have no idea if thats good or bad. This way, most of our cards are on the table. But regardless, it's very apparent that they are following a certain path now.
  3. 2 Career INTs and 21 passes defended in 5 years. No thanks. We're likely drafting another CB early.
  4. Thats terrible. Never really thought about it. I don't understand what the point is of having someone work out on a field without live hitting, etc. Seems frivolous. Watch the game tape. That's what matters.
  5. And yet another person complaining about it. Not sure which is worse. Not sure if you're aware, but if you don't respond, the thread will just die.
  6. Must have been the same batch of synthetic crap Zay had last week.
  7. The Giants and the Broncos hold the keys. If we can't get up that high and one of them passes, we're in business.
  8. Thats way too much draft capitol, even for OBJ.
  9. This thread title is taking what he said out of context, as are most of the tweets. What he's saying is situational and directly related the Browns.
  10. Getting to #2 would likely require the 3 #1's, and probably a second or two, so essentially you're just looking to do a straight trade of Jerry for OBJ. I think they'll get better offers.
  11. Haha, the bridge may not be a very long one.
  12. Tyrod Taylor is the Sam Darnold Bridge. End of story.
  13. I think if anyone we really want is there at 4 or beyond, we're trying to move up at every spot until we find a partner or our pick is taken. And honestly, if all 4 of the top QB's are gone before we can get one, I think we should move back and pick up extra picks instead of reaching for Jackson or Rudolph at 12.
  14. Glad to see this happened. Still have no idea who the best QB is, but we've gotta get one of them. I like Baker's attitude. I think he'd fit in in Buffalo area nicely.
  15. Why does WR need to be addressed in Free Agency? It could very well be the draft.
  16. So much for it being because it was a cheap contract. Most expensive player on the roster.
  17. I like https://first-pick.com Free, and trades are possible.
  18. If he was willing to restructure to take a pay cu this year, I think it's safe to say if he Bills want him to return next year, he'd likely do it too. No reason to add a year now, only to have dead cap space. He's already a very good player, it's not like he's going to be so much better this coming year that he'll dictate a huge raise.
  19. Man, it's hard to relax. After so many bad years and so many bad QB's, I think we all feel the pressure of this pick. The position is just so damn important!
  20. I hope we address at least one guard spot in the draft. It's be great to walk away with a starting RG and/or a future late round replacement at LG.
  21. I'm pretty surprised that Gaines hasn't landed anywhere yet. Must be he was looking for too much money and/or the injury situation is scaring people away. I'd love to bring him back if the price is right.
  22. No conspiracy theories or anything, but it really is very curious as to why his numbers aren't out there yet. It seems pretty common place for numbers to Leak out within minutes of someone signing, so we are we so far removed from landing a big FA without having his numbers? It's just strange at this point.
  23. Really don't see the Browns taking Barkley after signing Hyde. That throws everything else off.
  24. I think we'll be addressing WR with an early pick in the draft. (Whatever doesn't get traded for a QB.) But for reference, here is the Walter Football list of FA Wide receivers: http://walterfootball.com/freeagents2018WR.php
