    Isn't that better than a crappy QB and a necessity to move to the rookie? Depends on who the rookie is. Rosen is thought of as pretty NFL ready, though his body could use some bulking up. Whats the rush if we get the right guy?

    Why doesn't potential matter? What if he lights it up? Beane is all about playing for compensatory picks. That's a possibility.

    He's not getting anywhere near $20 Million. We have the only starting job, and apparently nobody else is willing to give him a shot at a starting job.

    But wouldn't you say that McCarron has more potential? I mean we know what Trevor Siemian is. There's not enough of a sample size for McCarron to be sure. Which in and of itself makes AJ more attractive as a FA.

    Not a huge star, but I'd love to sign Donte Moncrief. He could be the deep threat, which allows Zay to shift inside, and with a healthy Benjamin, I think thats a solid top 3. Great minds think alike!

    The trade into the top 5 isn't going to happen until the day of the draft. There's no motivation for teams in those spots to move out now.
