    Now is the time to spend the money since Allen will be on his rookie deal for 3-4 more years. If he keeps progrssing they wont have this kind of money in 4 years.

    Which happens all the time in the NFL.. Coaches/GMs hire guys they they are familiar with and have working relationships with.

    Bummed for a half hour or so but then over it. Pretty numb to losing cause it happens so often.
