  1. Lombardi is a BB homer. He is basically complaining that Bill isn’t getting a job. Vrabel as well.
  2. Yeah I could see Pete Carmichael Jr. coming over, among some others. And I really like Brady, but it is certainly feels like the path of least resistance.
  3. Morris is a great dude. His success is going to come down to who the QB is and who the OC is. I’m guessing he brings Zac Robinson or something. I also think they trade for Justin Fields
  4. Now that the Morris news is out, I think it’s obvious Lombardi is talking about Atlanta.
  5. I like Morris, but I am definitely surprised. I am not shocked that it wasn’t BB. To me this is what Lombardi is talking about in that article.
  6. I would not wish Mahomes’ wife on my worst enemy, but if I were Josh I would take the Joe Namath/Wilt Chamberlain approach to that side of life.
  7. I’m quoting just to spam the photo again… But Josh is good. Hailee ain’t no Mrs. Wilfork
  8. I’ve been highly critical of the braintrust here, but I would never say they are content. I would say stubborn. McDermott had flaws, and coaching is sometimes instinctual. I would never say he isn’t trying to get better, but it does feel like they don’t want to rock the boat. But they work their butts off, no doubt.
  9. I know this isn’t directed to me, and again I am not trying to argumentative, just kind of presenting my thought process on this, knowing full well it isn’t going to happen. So are you talking win/loss record here? If so you are 100% correct, he has a losing record as HC in both the pros and college. But he’d be coming as an OC, so to me his overall record isn’t significant in this case. I look at it has he coached guys like Case Keenum, Johnny Football, obviously Mahomes, Davis Webb, Baker Mayfield and they all put up some ridiculous numbers in his system. The guy can coach offense and that is what I would want him to do here. Let McDermott coach the defense. Based on what I just watched, I think it’s clear you have to try to outscore KC, and if that’s the goal, Kliff is the guy imo. Our Jedi knight QB could use a little slice of the dark side of the force. Forget about complimentary football, let’s beat everyone by 70 with our unicorn.
  10. I mean I will say this, I am not sure he is a good head coach, but he certainly knows the offense side of the game he took the Cardinals to the playoffs in 2021 despite Murray and Hopkins being in and out of the lineup, no weapons, no offensive line. And I've said, I am happy he is a douchebag. That is what this team needs. A little shot of that attitude to make things happen and get results. Not feel-good growth mindset and empathy garbage. And it isn't worth arguing about because it isn't going to happen. But that's what I would do if I had the choice.
  11. To me, that guy is Zac Robinson. Played in the league and is coming from the Rams staff. My issue is with a defensive head coach coach, the guy they hire becomes the CEO of the offense. I'd want a guy with more experience in that role and that's why I like Kingsbury or Arthur Smith even though their recent work has been less than stellar.
  12. I don't see how. But McDermott was very complimentary of Smiley. He seems to love the yes men and scapegoats.
  13. What did that poor dog ever do to u!!!
  14. I did think he was out, but I've kind of changed my mind. I do not think they are going to be willing to let him go until they know for sure that he can't play anymore. So I think they take the hit in 2024 and then if he's bad they cut him with a minimum dead cap in 2025.
  15. I believe it is two third-rounders edit: maybe I am wrong and it is only promotion to HC?
  16. I'm a high school HC and my QB asked if we could implement the clap....and let's just say it was a no.
  17. I like Kliff, but he needs to take a coordinator position with a team with an elite QB to re-build his value before he gets HC consideration again. He was not ready and doesn't care about defense.
  18. I agree. They do have some skill guys as well with Dotson, McLaurin, and Robinson and two great defensive tackles. They need to rebuild the back seven of the defense and fix their offensive line. They could even let Sam Howell get killed for a year and sit their shiny new QB, especially if it winds up being Drake Maye.
  19. I hope they interview: Joe Brady Kliff Kingsbury Kellen Moore Arthur Smith Zac Robinson Brian Johnson Mike LaFluer Kingsbury would be my top choice. If you want change, you take a demanding prick and put him in the building. He is not a yes man.
  20. So next Bills head coach? Former panther!
  21. I’d add Brandon Aiyuk to the trade list. He is set to play on the 14 million 5th year option. Nots sure they will move him, but you can’t pay everyone and they are going to have to allocate some money to the defense.
  22. Yeah it's funny people so hung up on Humphrey for some reason. If I am redoing that draft, I am taking Landon Dickerson at the end of the first, Nico Collins in the 2nd, Amon-Ra St. Brown in the third, Talanoa Hufanga in the fifth, and Trey Smith in the 6th. Bam! Now that’s hindsight.
  23. Kyle Dugger. Something like 4 years, 45 million…11.25 per maybe? They were all over him pre draft and spent all that scouting time at that D2 school. I’d pay more for Xavier McKinney. He can play either strong or free and can play single high, two high. He tackles, makes plays and still has upside. He’s also 3 years younger than Dugger. I’d also sign up for Gardner-Johnson. The Bills showed a lot of interest in him pre draft. Drafted Dawson Knox about 10 picks before he went. But he is a great fit and similar to Hyde in terms of skill set.
  24. To be fair, they were able to go get guys like McDuffie because the haul they got for the Tyreek trade. But the point is valid. They have done a really great job of drafting talent and finding value in people that maybe the league was missing out on. 2023 is meh except Rice, 2021 they found Bolton, Humphrey and Trey Smith and didn’t have a first round pick. 2022 they crushed with the extra draft capital. McDuffie, Karlaftis, Pacheco, and guys like Chenal, Williams, Watson, Moore and Cook. They do a great job. I don’t get hung up on Humphrey thing, the way a lot of people do, he was the third center off the board. But to me McDuffie was the one that got away.
