  1. The answer that makes the most sense to me is Curtis Samuel. He’s essentially a younger/slightly bigger, more explosive version of John Brown. I like Brown, but if you move on from him and use the money to sign Samuel, you replace Brown and McKenzie with one guy and still have a big role on offense carved out for Gabe Davis. Samuel is also a former Panther drafted while Brandon Beane was still there. I think he is in that second tier of receivers in FA. He can also return kicks. In terms of a TE, I think that may be harder to come by. Do you go crazy and offer sheet Robert Tonyan? Probably not enough cap for that. Jonnu Smith is probably too expensive as well. I would pursue (again) Kyle Juszcyk. He gets paid closer to fullback money but gives you a FB and a pass catcher who does everything a tight end can essentially do. You also have the poor man’s version of him in Anthony Firsker, who is a RFA. Jacob Hollister makes sense, but the lure of getting back together with Josh would have to pull him. A lot of people have mentioned Rex Burkhead as an add. And he makes a ton of sense on a few levels. He contributes in all phases of the game, so you essentially get Taiwan Jones with offensive contributions. He can catch the ball and run it as well. But before we do anything, we have to re-sign Daryl Williams.
  2. He would be an interesting pickup as he could actually fill the Lorenzo role who we seemed to miss this year. He could be a fit if we got a bit more aggressive on defense, but to me he is a more of a 3-4 player. I’m guessing he goes to Carolin to play for Matt Rhule
  3. Normally I would agree, but he’s a small school guy, who came in extremely raw, so took some development time and was stuck behind Jordan and Davenport who they spent all those picks on. His rookie year he had two sacks in very limited snaps. Was mostly hurt year two and in year three saw snap numbers jump considerably and produced 4.5 sacks. That was considered his break out year and this year is when he really put it together. 14 sacks in 53% of the defensive snaps is not an anomaly imo. I’m guessing he winds up in a place like Jacksonville with a ton of cap space, but he’s a perfect fit here.
  4. Cox ain’t going anywhere but it appears that Ertz is going to get cut. And my guess, based on no evidence, is he winds up on the Patriots or Seahawks.
  5. I really think they go after Trey Hendrickson. He just just checks a lot of boxes for the type of athlete they look for at the DE position. He really flourished in a rotational role, and I think he could do the same work here. In terms of the interior, they need a do over. Almost cut everybody except Oliver and start over. I don’t know what the answer is here, but it’s not what they got now.
  6. I would feel like I’m in one of those saw movies and have to slice my eye out to get the remote.
  7. F the Chiefs. Seriously. I really like Kelce, Honey Badger, Mahomes is great obviously...but God i just want to punch Tyreek Hill in the face like he punched his gf that time. So I have a hard time rooting their way. I hate Brady less now that he’s in Tampa and I love watching Ali Marpet (local guy for me) and Chris Godwin play. Lavonte David and Devin White too.
  8. Good stuff Virgil. The one thing I will say is that I felt like Williams played pretty well. Feliciano was God awful and so totally overmatched. I get it, he’s tough and brings his lunch pail, so people like him. But he’s bad and he’s been terrible over the last 5-6 weeks. And I know its Chris Jones we are talking about, but I don’t see it with him. Boettger and Ford are our guards next year imo.
  9. I think they just liked Ike Boettger better...or perhaps they had them neck and neck and were offered a pick for Teller. Now should we have kept Teller over Spencer Long? Yes obviously. But they wanted back ups to have versatility and that is why guys with position flexibility like Long and Ryan Bates were kept over Teller. But they obviously really liked Boettger and you really can’t argue with his play. If you really want to feel better, the 6th round pick they got from Cleveland turned into Bass. The 5th rounder was part of the ammo to get Diggs. So yeah. Im okay with it.
  10. Normally I’d agree but as a small school, he took a while to develop. He’s also part of a rotation in New Orleans, which is something we do here. Obviously it depends on price, but I think it is a fair investment. Hopefully, Epenesa develops and we don’t have to worry about the position.
  11. I hate him. My point is that there aren’t a lot of guys around who run the E-P system so if its not Dorsey, its a short list if you want continuity.
  12. I love that people are picking the Ravens. These Bills always play with a bit of a chip, but when they are doubted, it just feels stronger. I love this team and could not be more excited to watch this game tonight. It’s fine media and haters. I wonder who Rodney Harrison picks 🤢🤮. Let’s just keep on rolling. Go Bills!
  13. If they go within, it has to be Dorsey. Rob Boras does have OC experience, but Dorsey makes more sense. Outside you have to look at E-P guys, Mike McCoy, Mike Shula, Chad O’Shea, George Godsey or..gulp..Adam Gase. Darkhorse, Rob Chudzinzki. At the end of the day, I think its Dorsey. Outside of Dorsey, I think McCoy makes the most sense.
  14. Hendrickson is about the most perfect fit for our defense that you could find this off season. Big defensive end who is coming into his own, and needs a chance to start. He’s a bit of a one year wonder, so there is risk there, but he’s a small school guy who put it all together. I would also take a flyer on a guy like Solomon Thomas. He is still very young and needs a change of scenery. At worst he is a good run defender who can play end and tackle. Daryl Williams is Absolutely the number 1 priority and needs to get done above all else. Does he get something like that Jack Conklin 3 years 42 million? Or perhaps a bit more? After Williams it is Milano. But I think they will be careful with his cost. I think he should stay where he is a great fit, and my gut tells me it works out. I think he is a big difference maker and has a nose for the ball. At the same time, off ball linebackers with his skillset are not typically hard to come by. Question is, do they make the same impact? I like Nick Bolton in the draft. Obviously Lavonte David would be a dream, but guys like Nate Gerry, Duke Riley, Alex Anzalone, Kamu Grugier-Hill could all be replacements who have upside. I want Milano back though and am interested to see where his market goes. I like Feliciano. I think he brings attitude and aggression to games and I think he is a pretty average guard. Do I want him to stay? Yes. But our starting guard next year are Boettger and Cody Ford, so I’m not convinced he’s back. I think it comes down to numbers and if he is guaranteed a starting spot elsewhere. At corner I take a shot at a young high upside guy like Kevin King and sprinkle magic McDermott DB dust on him.
  15. I think the curse goes back longer. Barry Sanders retired. Garrison Hearst got hurt. Vick got hurt and arrested, Ray Lewis killed some guy and got hurt, Shaun Alexander hit a wall, Dante Culpepper wasn’t Drew Brees and started to suck, Gronk got hurt and Antonio Brown went off the deep end. Adrian Peterson got hurt. Drew Brees had a terrible season that year. Troy Polumalu got hurt. Vince Young sucked. Donovan McNabb tore his ACL. Worst of all, Brett Favre wound up on the Jets.
  16. like this guy? https://youtu.be/uc8JCXngwOQ Apparently Jamaal Charles has actually done this.
  17. We need to see these guys win a playoff game. That is the next big hump honestly. Play to win. Be aggressive and don’t play not to lose. Thats what i want to see.
  18. This is a weird thread to read through. The guy is obviously being brought in for intel having been with the Colts for a year or two, which is really smart. Plus maybe they want to consider him for a futures contract, which is fine. The amount of people who are upset about this and the amount of people who are excited about this confuses me.
  19. We are good. Anderson is a fringe guy who will probaly take his .5 sack to some crap Swedish arena football league or something.
  20. Definitely a Bojo hater. I had a great hot take earlier in the year....in which I said we should have drafted Braden Mann and not Bass. So yeah. I’d love to see more of those coffin corner kicks, definitely has a live leg and has been good. And it seems those holding issues are past him.
  21. I don’t think there is anything to worry about. Transactions have been weird this year. The Daryl Worley-Darron Lee saga took awhile. We heard they would likely be signing for a couple of weeks before anything actually happened.
  22. I think his situation was a bit like Diggs, though obviously not even close to the same level player. Stills is a super fiery guy. Highly competitive. He comes off as an ass at times, but I feel like it’s playing with an edge. Not a great match with O’Brien and I am speculating that he bitched and moaned about the Hopkins deal. Just my 2 cents.
  23. This guy has by far the most upside of any tight end we have had here for a very, very long time. He has game breaking potential. He will get there. he is improving. He’s an excellent blocker with that receiving upside. Do people prefer a Mark Campbell or Robert Royal? Maybe a Derek Fine or Derek Schouman type? We should continue to add to the position. Draft guys with upside. Maybe sign UFA Jacob Hollister, who is a nice compliment and gives you some H back factor as well as familiarity with our system and and a close connection to Josh Allen. But I think Knox will be a top ten tight end in the near future. He came in as raw as you can be to play a very complicated position. Our team asks him to do a lot. And we have had no OTAs etc. The fact that he has had the impact he has is actually pretty amazing.
  24. I could see him as a replacement if Frazier is poached down the road.
