If Josh immediately hits Breida on the wheel route it's an automatic 1st down. He hesitated, then looked, waited, and it let the cb come down and cover.

It's hard to do. But yup.

Definitely miss Zimmer.

At Motor's performance so far, he's on pace for 1,000 yards this season if he were to average 12 carries per game. He's averaging 8 carries per game. Seems less an inability to run than not wanting to run. Moss is bad. Motor should have been getting most of his carries. And Brieda should have been given an opportunity. He needs to get touches moving forward. Our run blocking looked pretty damn good Everytime he ran that ball last week.

With Motor's output this season, he would be on pace for a 1,000 season with 12 carries a game... He's only getting 8 carries a game...

Sake. For his sake... This is another case of big thumbs, small phone... But I do hope he plays soon and gets a bunch of sacks.

I really hope for his sake that he has an asymptomatic case that was caught on test and isn't suffering any of the serious consequences.

When did I say that? It would be nice if more than one player steps up to provide a spark of leadership to light a fire under their asses. Remember when Edmunds took that role in 2019 following an ugly loss to the Browns and an ugly loss to Philly a few weeks before? In my opinion, there's no vocal leader on the defense since Kyle and Lorax retired. Jerry's not that guy. Tremaine is in position to be that leader, even if out of character for him. He's done it before, and he can do it again.

It needs to be Tremaine Edmunds.

Still too soon, but just saw this on Twitter and it's pretty hilarious:

Ya know, a lot of people have said similar things. But that Titans game was a hell of a game. I think the loss on the final play was a huge let down for the team more so than the win against KC. And yeah, there's no reason to believe that something will just click on. It's going to take extraordinary effort and motivational leadership. I see McDermott is very committed to restraining his emotions. But for the love of God, be the leader of this team, get in guys faces and fire them the ***** up. Stop holding back the anger unless you want to be watching the playoffs from your couch.

KC seemed even more dead in the water earlier this season. The fire is back for them. There's no guarantee the Bills will rekindle the fire in their belly. But never say never. We shall see.

Cover 2 is nothing new. Teams would like their chops when they'd see it cause it meant they were going to average 5-7 yards per run. But if you can't run the ball. Or if you refuse to run the ball. Or if you have a back that goes off, but the you pull them out of the game and keep rotating backs due to some pre-designed plan without making decisions based on what's working on the field... Ya know.

I think the Bills could have even gone with a 5-2 and dared Wentz to beat them. Yes, Wentz might have had 300 yards, but he's more likely to make a mistake and throw a pick than Taylor fumbling. I do think the D would have played better with Star and Edmunds. But the refusal to adapt and try to stop them was infuriating.

Yeah, might have seen more 3 LB sets had Edmunds been available. But I don't understand playing Nickel against 2 TE sets on 3rd and short and goal line.

Of course not. There's never any guarantees. But I don't think the D gives up back to back TD's to stay the game. And getting Ford off the field makes the O so much better.

Not with Edmunds, Brown and Star out they don't.
