The Broncos run D was terrible that day. We should have run so much more. Avg like 7 ypc .I recall they benched Cook for like 12 min game time due to his fumble. Dorsey last game. Our own O will be so much different. The crazy storm that aligned for Broncos to win that game ...wow. Bet it sticks in players craw. Nix will add some to this game, but Wilson actually played very well. Plus, I'd imagine "running Josh" will be a full go.

Jack did not pop on film year 1 at all. He was mediocre. Joe is tracking. With his ethic, he could be a pro bowl type player some day. Just needs to keep grinding and working hard.

I thought he was ghosty at times, but this was more due to a few factors. Overall he played sound. Tackled sound and took solid angles. They did not seem to blitz much and not a ton of splash plays. He did not pop to me in run D but nothing negative either. They played a lot of base and tried to keep everything in front of them. I don't feel they ran any spies, so Milton burned us. Joe was not at fault here, as safety play and CBs played " sleepy" .

Sucks for Dorsey. I think he was dealt a bad hand. Chubb out. Trade top wideout. Watson mess, then stuck w DTR and Zapper off the street. Winston alone is a coach- killer. Dorsey may need some remedial work, but he's not miracle worker.

Purdy is not the guy. That's my take from this game. May be an overreaction but too many lazy lapses of judgement. Bad picks.

Pettine is not the best example. He was not a crazy good candidate. Was seen as an odd hire at the time. I agree, they will find someone. That someone will likely be perceived as a dark horse or guy who is desperate or on some second chance. Maybe a guy like Doug Marrone.

I disagree. But let me say, I think CFB will shift to allow some point failed NFL players to come back to the CFB ranks. I'm in a competent NFL caliber GM/ coach/ OC , my best route- I stay the fudge away from Woody Johnson and the NY Jets.

Yep but I don't see Nix as more a proto NAI player. Went to Oregon to genuinely pursue glory knowing his NFL rating was not as high as he hoped. More like Russ Wilson.
