Daniel jeremiah mock has a key Bills message
MC Hamburg replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I want one of these QBs from this draft...if it happens to be Lamar Jackson...he wouldn't be my first pick...but I would be exited to see what they be cooking up in the Offensive kitchen. This kid could be something else...or not...but seems to have a chip on his shoulder and wants to prove himself as a true quarterback. I wouldn't cry over it...but i would cry if they don't take a QB and we have to watch another year of the same old same old....mkay -
He would be a perfect fit with Shady...this guy has power and speed

Does Move Up Plan include Big Free Agents
MC Hamburg replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
QB is the position we have been overlooking since Kelly (usually obtaining a sub-par QB..then drafting a running back/pass rusher/nose guard )...We need our guy!!!...If McBean thinks they have the right guy... then lets do this!!!!! You can always move free agents in/out like the Patriots have done for years and proven works ( if you're a smart talent evaluator ) which after the players they added last year Poyer, Gaines, Hyde etc...seems like we will be ok. QB is #1 overall in this current football culture...then you build your team around him! Im all fired up over this...come at me foos! -

Tyrod is not a good QB...hell of a running back really...kinda reminds me of Slash from the Pittsburg Steelers. Slash would turn some heads on certain plays, but in the end he just couldn't get the job done..no matter how much we liked him and rooted for him (myself) the end results was they needed a better QB. Just like Us....

A healthy Cordy Glenn plus picks 21 and 22 would make some nice trade up bait...might even land us our franchise QB for 10+ years..I would be all in

Glad to get off the snide, but was it worth it?

There we go... now the Redskins are picking a QB in draft before us also... so was it really worth getting to the playoffs? -
Chiefs trade Alex Smith to washington
MC Hamburg replied to Castellar's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good now we don’t have to worrry about the Bills getting Alex Smith anymore -
This is why the Bills have never got a good QB since Kelly. Seems to me that over the years the Bills would be meddling in the middle of the pack with the average of roughly an 8-8 record give or take. We would never get a first/second overall pick because we would always be picking 10th -20th. We would never tank for a QB even though we have had plenty of chances to do so..... and to just lose out on the good QB by a few picks because we won just a little too much on another average year...here we go again...this was the year we were going to rebuild and have a pass with the new Coach and GM with Sam Darnold in site...but just like the rest of the years our timing was off again...now we pick 21/22 and there will not be a QB available because 21 teams before us lost more than us...seems like the same old scenario to me...bad timing or ignorance? let me know!

Trading for a Carson Wentz
MC Hamburg replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Nick Foles would be a perfect fit for the Bills. He has the largest hands in football and can play in cold weather, still young.... been around the league to gain experience and at 29 years old starting to enter a QBs prime years. At 6'5" he has great size..I don't believe another QB would fit us better at this point in time..we could also grab Mason Rudolph to sit and learn for a couple years to develop. So trade #21 for Foles and #22 for Rudolph in the draft and we would be set at QB for 15 years. -
So glad to see that good old football games are gracing us with their presence...back from the days of Jim Kelly, Dan Marino, John Elway. Seems that 2018 will be flooded with good competent QBs from free agency all the way to the draft. The hope is almost every team will have a decent QB to carry their team...instead of all this defensive football accompanied by a QB that can barely manage a game. I am so exited for 2018 football to bring back the overall fun of the game.... With the prime outlook of scoring first and often instead of the game management which can make 3 hours feel like a lifetime.

Tyrod is a running back everyone

Is this Jags loss McDermott's fault?
MC Hamburg replied to BringBackOrton's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nope...it's the Bills front office for not trying to keep things rolling with Doug Marrone as the hard nose coach that the Bills needed so bad at the time...he got them out of the country club mode and made them play hard...then we let him walk and our "Know it all media" in Buffalo just crushed him over every stupid thing they could think of because our media thinks they are the smartest and the best...I think most of our media crew in Buffalo are trying to make names for themselves instead of actually trying to report on the good things that people are trying to do within the organization...NICE JOB reporters!...Tom Coughlin thinks Marrone is good enough! -
Yes I would....Andy Dalton is going to come into his prime very soon... remember how Drew Brees started to pick it up as he got a little older..I always liked the RED ROCKET for crying in the sink!!!!

Awesome!!!! -
I always like Doug Marrone! he has been the only coach during the drought that actually held his players responsible and wasn't too worried about being there friend...he just wanted to win football games with the crappy roster, in which he did. He knew right away that EJ Manual was not a good QB or capable of learning to be one so he reached out to Orton which was a very smart move at the time. I hoped that the new owner was going to retain Marrone, but I guess the front office was too far gone and stubborn to make any changes at that time. I'm a bills fan ..but go Doug Marrone!!!! Show what Buffalo missed on!!!!

He was upset that Tyrod kept making him run too much
