  1. Exactly. Hes got some growing to do. But if its 3rd and 20. He throws is 21. Or runs like he can get there every time. He will not take the check down....which is lovely to see
  2. His medium to long range passes are great. Needs to work on the quick hitters.
  3. If he had a cast around him today this would be his best performance to date.
  4. I'm sorry. This doesn't belong in the game thread. Hes tough. Energetic. And can play. He showed me a lot today. His energy is infectious.
  5. And Thompson gets cut monday. Awful drop and awful punt coverage.
  6. Allen could have another 100 yards if not for penalties and that pathetic drop.
  7. Its 3rd and 25. We dont want to run a play before the 2 min warning.
  8. Ironically I think the opposite. I think he will come out ready to play as he knows he can add a few million to his fresh start if he finishes strong.
  9. I disagree here. Washington brought in 3 pieces on offense this year and were doing just fine. Is Smith doesnt get hurt. Maybe they are 8 and 3 right now.
  10. Honestly. This is a private matter that there are a wide range of attitudes on. Do I hit my kids no. Do I think it's right to do it. No. Do I think I am high and mighty enough to judge people I dont know on how they treat their kids. No.
  11. Hes also likely to finish top 5 in yards in the history of the league. Is he too 5? No. Stats can lie. Why did he have to make comebacks. Why does a team with a franchise elite qb never make the playoffs.
  12. Cousins = Stafford Eyeball test and clutch time perfomance > stats. People are so stat obsessed. If anyone watched cousins or Stafford in college they would know that they choked in every big game they had practically. Stats dont tell the whole story.
  13. Now dont get me wrong...there is still a have vs have nots when it comes to quarterbacks...but after watching the game last night and the bears game Sunday night its remarkable how easy things look for mahomes goff and trubisky. Creativity gets them wide open receivers on nearly every play. Now mahomes and goff are better at finding them than most but I'd argue that is being coached up better than others as well. Now let's go to teams like Detroit Atlanta, green bay and Seattle. With upper tier quarterbacks that are struggling. If that their fault. Their defense? Ya maybe a little but I'd argue they have to rely too much on receivers making contested catches. Galloday is covered all the time...and fights to get the ball. Russell Wilson has no one to throw to most of the time until he scrambles. Same with Rodgers. Throw one of those guys or heck mahomes or goff into this offense and are they MVP candidates. Hell no. Throw rodgers on the chiefs and he's breaking records. A franchise QB is definitely required to win consistently in this league and all the guys above are just that...but not having one can be masked by a great OC...which we do not have.
  14. These 2 coaches are amazing at designing the plays...the amount of wide open receivers they have on any given play is insane. Hill is unguardable. As is kelce. As is hunt out of backfield. On of them or sammy are wide open every play.
  15. Answer AP is and always was a freak of nature. What he does cant be applied to normal men. I mean the dude ran for 2000 after a knee injury.
  16. I see what hes getting at. It's what we have said here. This teams personnel is rough...and yet they compete. But the being in every game is ?
  17. I'm not saying he is. They are. I just thought it would be fun to post. Ha
  18. Didnt see this posted but at least a couple people think so. This will make some people lose it. Ha https://billswire.usatoday.com/2018/11/14/buffalo-bills-bleacher-report-pegs-sean-mcdermott-as-coach-of-the-year-candidate
  19. If Allen pans out we got a top 3 corner and a starting qb. We can whine all we want about mahomes but that's a decent return as well.
