  1. Sorry but if it makes some people uncomfortable maybe that's because somewhere they think their might be truth to it. I don't think this applies to the coaching staff at all, but the fans... it's questionable. Just my opinion, and I'm not trying to insinuate that the guy I originally quoted is one of them. The joke just came to mind there.
  2. So I take it you didn't see the first half of the Jets game? The chargers have a good defense, but they are not that great. Pressured a QB like you've never seen before? That's just making things up to support a position.
  3. Because he's black? Should he go white face for McDermott and the fans and throw 5 ints? Then it becomes he has potential, gunslinger, it's not all on him
  4. Of course you wouldn't. It's critical of the Bills. eh... 5 Int's make me feel pretty confident saying Nate is terrible. I'm envious of your level of denial.
  5. You're right about the fans, but does he owe it to guys like Shady or more so Kyle? A guy who is debating retirement then luring him back talking about making a run for the playoffs, or at least that was the speculation. Then getting a guy like Boldin, trying to get him sign, selling him on a run, then trading your number 1. Good for Boldin for retiring, and how does Kyle trust this coaching staff if they indeed told him they wanted to make a run this year and then they have last week happen. These guys are terrible at judgment. Belichick manages it well, has a proven track record. McDermott seems to think that he can equal that by just shipping out talent for less value and benching guys.
  6. Well... Whaley was never really able to hire his own coach, so their was a constant rift between the FO and coaching staff which leads to sides being picked and in turn leaks. It's not really an accomplishment stopping that, they are all gone. It just appears everyone is McDermott's puppet now, so yea no leaks. Just terrible surprises like Sunday. Is that really an improvement? Also with the leaks, it was all a mess. Does ownership take any blame? Why is it coming out right before the Pittsburgh game that Rex could be fired if they lose, or before the season both him and Whaley could be gone if they don't make the playoffs. The Pegula's have been absolutely horrible, and they deserve a lot of the blame too.
  7. The guy won't even say he made the wrong decision by starting Peterman. I agree with you, and I agree with a lot being said. His messaging is awful, but McDermott is not long for the league in my opinion. He's the typical football coach, he thinks he's smarter than everyone else in the room and just speaks in cliches. How else does he come to the determination that Peterman should have started? I'm biased at this point because I just find him annoying. They are in a tough position talking about winning now and building for later, but it is a bit of a political act. Whenever things go well, they're trying to win now. When they start Peterman, it's about the "bigger vision" not a giant mistake. I just don't trust these guys and I'm just a fan, if you're a player, how do you trust them at all? And this process ****, don't even get me started with this process stuff. I know they hired a guy so they don't repeat the Whaley/Lynn debacle of last year, which also Terry needs to step up and be a man about it. He's an awful public speaker so for him to potentially fire guys for failing a decision that he oversaw, he should get it. Terry created that whole disaster. But that PR guy they hired, tell him to stop saying using the word process or it's going to be thrown in their face over and over again. It actually makes McDermott sound unintelligent at a point, it's all bull ****. He already sounded like he was getting short with Schopp and Bulldog on Monday, he's lucky it's Buffalo, a bigger market he'd be destroyed. They're saying he should be fired on PTI, it'd be way worse if he was McAdoo, Bowles, or Garrett.
  8. One of the worst in Bills history? You must have missed a lot of this teams history and I'm talking even pre-drought.
  9. It was a loss but how was Taylor on the road vs Seattle on Monday night? After getting destroyed by NE.
  10. Uh? What stars? They have one and that's Lesean and you'll never get value for him at his age and position.
  11. God what a horrendously stupid post. He threw for more interceptions in a half than Tyrod threw all year. Does that register in your mind at all? I will even leave out the douchey, Just Sayin No **** you are just saying it, i just read it. What the hell did you watch? First, no one thinks Tyrod is a franchise guy but he is clearly the best guy they have right now. Peterman was finding guys to throw too? He completed 43% of passes. He completed just under that to the other team. You think it's good quarterbacking to just loft the ball up like a punt instead of taking the sack? I mean those balls just hung in the air and were going way short of their targets. He was wreckless... And you find a silver lining in that maybe he could be even more aggressive? If I were you, I'd just blame my posts on poor diction because if it's not, you have absolutely horrible judgment.
  12. Neither is 6/14, 43% Completed for 66 yards with 0 TD, 5 Ints. Great move for a tank... too bad it's too late for that, they were competing for a playoff spot in a horrendous AFC. It's not even debatable it was an awful move. That's everyone, local and national media, and fans alike are laughing at it. Unless you have some odd motive for it, or is just down right delusional.
  13. If you're firing the DC this early into a defensive minded coach's tenure. You might as well just get rid of the HC.
  14. I'm not sure if it's numb or I've gone nuts. I didn't like the hire to begin with and he just always seemed too college/hs coachy to me, but so do most football coaches to me. I was so mad after the Watkins trade I told my boss don't go out of your way to give me Sundays off. I get a bonus for them and this team just didn't seem worth giving that up. After passing on going to the Raiders game and listening to the players, not the coach, speak after that game I thought maybe I was wrong. Maybe their is something to what I think is bs he preaches even though the TO differential and quality of victories gave me pause. But listening to Jordan Matthews talk about how no one wanted him, Tyrod, or McCoy. How they all got passed on, I finally caved and bought in. I didn't think we were on a run for years of playoffs, but maybe we were finally going to be the garbage over achieving team that gets a wild card spot. Then the Jets game happens. And halfway through it, I'm just laughing hysterically. The weak fumbles everything. All I can think is, you people thought this **** was good? Then I go to the Saints game and that was anger. Then McDermott comes out and says Peterman is starting and I'm annoyed. Then I catch the first half of the LA game and I'm Hahahaha Trust the process... Hahaha you believed in this ****? Trust the process, you guys got played, and then it's He said after the game that he "Regrets the result but not the decision" Hahahaha Maybe something's wrong with me, like I said crazy, but you just have to laugh sometimes.
  15. Think about it. They gutted FO and scouting departments and let the guy who just made the decision to play Peterman at this specific point in time lead the rebuild of that. We fear 20 years? This can reach 30 easily I'm being dramatic obviously, but just wow. I don't trust any of these guys judgment over there.
  16. Are you drunk? 9-7 has never been considered .500 Do you need a math lesson?
  17. Wait so you didn't see enough from today? I've seen all I need to see from him. I'm biased because I didn't like the move, I'll admit that. But I've seen enough. The guy did stuff that's never been done post merger. He doesn't even know when to take a sack. Doing it once, I'm just talking about lofting up the ball for an interception, ok I get that, you can do that once in a game. Especially if you are panicking about taking a safety. But doing that one mistake twice in addition to all the others. I can't tell if he just has bad judgment, or the games too fast for him. Take the sack. He's awful, he's the worst QB they've trotted out since Hobart. Actually he's the worst. He is the worst, it's that simple. Then the talk about we don't have losses we just have lessons post game ****. Is McDermott really peddling this participation trophy stuff? Someone needs to tell the both of them that they lost and they were horrendous. These are grown men. Clearly I could ramble on more, it's just nuts
  18. And whose fault is that? This game is proof of why you take players over coaches. It's easy to change coaches. Accruing talent takes a lot more time and effort, and the players usually have more longevity than a coach.
  19. No, this game is going to always be remembered pretty vividly. Even if McDermott turns it around and has a good run. Peterman was record setting bad. It's delusional to think everyone will just forget about it. Maybe I'm missing out on some kind of sarcasm or something here. I don't know.
  20. They were consistently in the playoffs. Kordell Stewart went 11-5 one year. The hell are you talking about? That comparison makes 0 sense.
  21. The guy is chip kelly 2.0 He's actually chip kelly on steroids. Kelly made the playoffs and then ran all the talent out of town. This guy was like eff playoffs, I'm trading away two top 5 picks, and benching my starting qb in half a season. I see you Chip and I raise you one. I'm done with this guy. I won't root for him to succeed. He's just so unlikable to me. It really sucks, but I can't do it. !@#$ him. But why do it now? And I agree better days are ahead for Nate, he is gonna be getting that NFL money on the side while working in whatever he majored in at Pitt. He's awful.
  22. Sorry, I just took you as the OP since you said you're defending his right to make bold decisions. So yea sorry, I made a lot of inferences because if thats all you can say like what are you even saying? That's all you add? You don't explain it at all, who are you defending this right for Sean McDermott from that people are clamoring to take it away from him in vain? Edit- still think most of the post holds up given what you said.
