  1. Spotrac @spotrac The #NFL numbers will be very fluid over the next few days as minimum salaries are increased, tenders & tags are finalized, etc… Bear with us.
  2. Bills got 10 OL signed so far. 6 decent inside guys so I see another camp body UDFA type for sure. Only 4 OTs with Dawkins and Nsekhe on their last year of contract. Ford and Salako (camp body and I don't even think he is still PS eligible this year). A lot more RT/Swing Tackle competition needs to be signed. Beane for sure has seen this and will be looking at FA and Draft to fill it. I am so looking forward to see what moves are going to be done to address this. I would not 100% lock Nsekhe in at swing. Ford will get a good long shot at proving he can be a RT irregardless of what some might think.
  3. Croom is signing for cheap money and he and Nate Becker will be fighting for the PS TE position. I think that's going to be a good competition and it looks like a decent player will fill the role. The other 4 are last years guys. I see no reason to expect that all 4 locked into those positions. There could be another TE move coming soon.
  4. Maybe so, I guess the way things are I'm more like Sheldon when he tells Leonard ".....I'm much better suited as an FAA Inspector checking the wreckage". LOL
  5. I got plenty of family and friends on both sides arguing to the bitter end that makes me believe the way i do. The previous President had plenty of "death panels and birth certificates" to interrupt his job. Being in the middle is a lonely position nowadays.
  6. ....and this is why i don't get excited about players until the tags are placed and teams re-sign their own FAs.
  7. I'll say as an "Independent Moderate" I'm not a big fan of President Trump but I am glad of this afternoon moves. He and his team have taken many of the steps necessary to limit the negative effects of this challenge. Filling up the National Petroleum Reserve at this time is also a good move and Cramer (who called for that last night) from Mad Money will be happy to see it. That being said, if a Non-Republican President did the exact same moves a lot of criticism would of come from the right. I repeat (practically beg) for Americans to act like citizens and not partisans.
  8. I mean 1 September is a LONG way away. Let's see what happens. Just saying.
  9. @wppete I bumped your post. Not sure if you want to update/edit the player list. I would be nice to have 1 place to go for the expected flood of threads and posts about the cap space. I figure it worth seeing where Beane is at the weekend before FA (and after some recent moves) to see where we are at. All info is from Spotrac. As of 13 March. $78,409,000.00 Bills current Cap Space (top 51 of the current 57 signed). minus $3,500.000 (adjustment for the reported Kroft restructure not shown in Spotrac yet and Spain's signing and displacing of top 51). $74,900,000 Adjusted Cap going into FA. minus $3,100,000 for rookie signings (Spotrac estimate of $7,600,000 minus 500k each for displacing current top 51 players). $71,800,000 Approximate Cap Space including rookie signings going into FA! I looked at the current roster and I don't see anyone who Beane is going to cut before the draft. There could be a Lee Smith and/or TJ Yeldon type cuts but if something like that happens I think it will be in final cuts. I suspect just about everyone on the current roster to go to camp. So with just over 70 million Beane has plenty of $s to sign some of our FAs and sign some decent players! Let the fun begin (hopefully, considering the whole virus thing)!!!!
  10. The data out of China and Iran has been suspect to it's accuracy. It seems that reliable numbers are starting to come out of EU and US and I would wager that by next week we should start to see them. From everything I have read and heard there seems to be indications that most deaths have been in Intensive Care. Not related to this post response I want to say the President is privy to more information than most of us and I applaud his response tonight. It can't be easy for anyone to do that irregardless of politics.
  11. You are right, the ship has sailed but on both ends of the bell curve. Extreme panic and extreme complacency have taken root. I needed to say my piece and I'll end it with the hope that we as citizens look out for our seniors throughout this challenge.
  12. No you are not. Taking some rational cautionary precautions (especially for out parents/grandparents) is not to much to ask for. My mother is 86 and she takes a yearly flu shot and takes precautions around sick people. She still drives but limits it to good weather during the day. She finally put away her "vanity" and uses a cane while walking. These are things that "rational" people do so I don't understand why it has to be an either or of "living your life" OR "living in fear". I'm a "moderate independent" who sees this country riddled with broken windows. I believe there would be a lot less of them if people would just curb their urges to throw so many rocks. I do not wish to cause any strife in my comment it's just my way of looking at problems. My brother from Texas (a "trumpster" for lack of another word) and I were planning to visit my mother in Buffalo come May this year. We are holding off on the visit until we see more facts about this outbreak.
  13. I don't see Beane having a pre-draft strategy of moving up or down in the 1st round. As it gets close to his pick (say after MIA at 18) he may move up 2 or 3 spots depending on his board. As to trading back I just don't think Beane needs to consider it unless something really unique happens with another team wanting a Bills pick.
  14. I remember Rick Azar doing the play by play for Bills preseason games on channel 7 way back in the day.
  15. I agree but we seem to be in the minority here. Maybe someone would do a poll. I haven't seen one.
  16. I'm not a huge fan of it either but if they keep it I wish they would abolish the 3rd round designations. I hate watching all these day 2 draft comp picks at the end of the 3rd. All comps would be starting in the 4th if I were King.
