  1. If the 90 million were one year contracts. My point is more along the lines of this example. If White signs for 15 million per year it equates to 30 million off the 200 million number for 2021. All I am saying is the 2021 cap is a long way away and a lot can change that number.
  2. Heavy is the head that wears the crown. My sympathies for your burden.
  3. Exactly. I heard that Lou Saban once voted for Barry Goldwater. That statement is as relevant as any other in this thread.
  4. ....LOL and the Colts have a quarter billion. Looking forward to "cap space" 2 years from now means nothing.
  5. Why do I have a feeling that Cincinnati trades out of the 1st pick like it's sister city Cleveland has been known to do.
  6. Sorry, I lost track of the discussion. Earlier I had mentioned IF that is possible it would revolve around who McD designates as "Inactive". IF some of those starters are "Inactive" to start the game then it could be possible. One thing that hasn't been considered is if all these depth players were to start it really shortens the rotation available. I would have fans consider this. Let's say that McD started Barkley with an OL comprised of depth players and the Jets bring the house and Barkley get's dinged. I would hate to see Josh (or any other starter) have to re-enter the game. IMO McD starts a large part of the normal lineup (minus some of his starter "inactives") and slowly starts subbing the depth in. I think it's the wisest thing to do. Roberts is already an out and Ty will probably need another week.
  7. Technically you can't. I used the OL and LB as an example in another thread. There are only 9 OL on the team. So if you don't play the 5 starters...................math takes over.
  8. Don't take offense. Sarcasm is at a gallop lately. LOL
  9. The Bills offense is no where close to putting up 400+ yards a game to become a top 3 offense. What is known by most of us fans that "don't get it" is another 25 yards per game passing is needed. Add another 10-15 by the RBs and this team is around a 9-11th team in total yards. That could equate to an extra 3 points a game and puts them up in the low teens of points per game I believe that is the plan today and going forward. Better execution and some added talent can do just that. ps Every time I see your posts I think of this. LOL
  10. He changed how the position was played. He truly was incredible to watch. During that era the vast majority of punts (and kick offs) were returned. Teams looked hard for good KO and PRs to change the field position. His hang time and accuracy was constantly commented about by the TV announcers and took away a big part of the opponents game. Stats like fair catches, inside the 20 and "coffin corner" kicks are hard to find for those years but I would imagine he would still be a good punter today. The punters today are all capable of decent hang time and the way a punt is kicked and defended is all about getting a fair catch out of it. One big change is back then there was not nearly as many "blocking in the back" penalties as there are today and punt returns were a fun and exciting part of the game. The 1st round pick was crazy but during those Madden years in Oakland crazy was the norm.
  11. Time for Darryl Johnson to show what he's got.
  12. Well lets hope the week of rest helps him be available for the WC game.
  13. I remember having an 8x10 black and white photo of Albert Dubenion from Bells Supermarket. I think it was this one. Wish I still had all those pictures today! RIP brother.
