  1. Our fandom has a lot of similarities. Only 1 team out of 32 wins the last game and that's just over a 3% chance. The best you can do as an owner, coach, player and a fan is get back up, dust yourself off and get back at it. It's just a game but it's the stuff life is made of.
  2. He is a fine young man that is easy to root for. I'm sure I have made some excuses for him BUT he is the teams quarterback and that carries the heaviest of responsibilities. There was IMO plenty of players and coaches responsible for the good and bad this year, how much is "discussed" on this board minute by minute but whether Josh Allen gets better or not is the most important. Staying the course and putting the best players and coaching around him is what I think is needed and I'll watch the off season to see if that happens. I still think he's got a decent chance of being something special.
  3. I can agree with you on your post. It is tough to retrain yourself. I hope Josh can and I believe he will try to do just that. We'll find out next year.
  4. If you are thinking that Beane and McDermott should or will consider moving on from Josh Allen you will most likely be extremely disappointed. You like all of us will just have to wait till next season to see if Josh Allen proves it or not.
  5. You are right about the offense not getting the attention the D has since they came to Buffalo. My personal opinion (which isn't worth spit) is that at least 2/3rd's of the off season resources need to go to the offense. What I am willing to do is wait to see what Beane and McDermott do. Are you?
  6. Us fans identify with the team using "we" and that's a great way to feel part of the team. I'm sure the players are not happy about what went down today just as we are. I great quote used by a wise man after a bad defeat went like this, "There's an old saying that 'victory has a 100 fathers and defeat is an orphan'...". Agree with you, it was a hard way to end the season but I am glad that it was close and hard fought and not a blowout.
  7. You can't get a closer game than this one. I know it's "the thing" to find one play/player/coach to blame a loss on but just about every Buffalo Bills could of changed the outcome. You also got to give credit to the Texans for hanging in there, they could of easily folded in the 3rd. I'll be sad for a while about this one!
  8. .....if a fan wants to greet their team at the airport to say "Thanks for the season and your effort" I see no problem with that.
  9. I'm doing Beef on Weck and will be using the "Charlie the Butcher" corn starch method for the rolls. Here is an option for some people to try. The old "Bailo's" on Bailey would have this option. Use some of the corn starch/water mix to "thicken" the Au Jus, add it slowly to the desired thickness. Add black pepper and a dash of "Kitchen Bouquet" for some extra flavor. Just before serving dredge the beef thru the gravy (draining most of the gravy off before putting on the roll). Of course the proper amount of horseradish is a must. Serve with mashed potatoes and a side of pickled red cabbage.
  10. Out here in the Rocky Mountains the Bills are well liked this season and have a lot of interest.
  11. It's sad we have so many comebacks. Glad things are looking better!
  12. I wonder the same thing. If it isn't then Daboll won't be here long. If it is then Daboll needs at least another year.
  13. Baker needs to do a commercial about having problems with all his landlords.
  14. ...and Dawkins was the only OL left from that game. Still there are fans that can't really grasp the extreme turnover on the offense but still expect a top 10 O.
