  1. FFS you can't sit all the starters. There are only 9 OL and 5 LBs. Take 4 away from the DL and the other 5 have to play the full game with one substitution? Let McDermott do what he is going to do. The depth will play a lot more snaps and some starting vets won't play but a few snaps. LOL, "nothing exceeds like excess" on this board sometimes.
  2. Great clip but I am a little confused. I've heard here on this board that the Bills FO don't know how to draft or what FAs to get. Who is right?
  3. I'm looking at the fact that the inactives should have some of the players that McDermott wants to rest. That way the "typical" inactives like Yeldon and Duke and some of the others can come in to relieve some of the starters/primary depth players.
  4. "Most of the team". I guess I'll wait to see who the inactives are. Let's hope for a couple of quick TDs to get the depth in early.
  5. Optimist/Pessimist, Homer/Hater, Black/White, All This/All That are nothing but 2 sides of the same coin. Reality lies somewhere in between these extremes. Human nature and experiences clouds the best of us. Personally as a fan of this team I trend towards "hopefulness" lately with both Josh Allen and the team as a whole. This has been a pleasant change from the past. I've seen improvement in his game (can't agree with some who have not) BUT I don't know how much more we will see. It makes future games fun to watch and for me "predicting" his future success is a exercise in futility. I can name a half dozen things JA needs to improve on and another half dozen things he does well. I do believe he will give good effort in improving and all I can do is wait and see what happens. Thus ends my $0.02 of the truth about Josh Allen.
  6. Hughes has a $9.5M cap hit in 2020. Hughes Dead Money if he is cut is $10.85M. There is no chance he will be cut. If traded Hughes Dead Money is $4.2M and for $5.3M (2020 cost) for the team trading for him there is a chance a trade could happen but unlikely IMO.
  7. I think you may be confused. Who do you prefer the Bills to play KC or HOU?
  8. The obvious is if the Chiefs lose out and Texans beat the Titans we would play the Chiefs. Just remembered the Texans beat the Chiefs so a tie goes to the Texans.
  9. It's about SOV. They just said on the Bears pregame show that if you are a Raiders fan root for the Bears.
  10. True, if the Bears win tonight then the Pats* Dolphins game is meaningless. Same holds true I believe with the Lions/Packers game with a Lions win. I put the obvious Pats* victory down as the most likely.
  11. We'll have to see but I don't think the Texans will let the Titans walk into the playoffs.
  12. OK, as crazy as it sounds the Oakland Raiders have a chance to make the 6th seed. 1. Of course they have to beat the Broncos. 2. Texans beat Titans. 3. Ravens beat the Steelers. 4. Colts beat the Jagoffs. 5. Patriots beat the Dolphins. I probably should comment that I loathe the Steelers and the Titans.
  13. They are, NFL.com just hasn't updated the playoff scenario completely yet.
  14. If the Bills want to stick with a FB I think they should attempt to upgrade from Dimarco.
  15. I know he's not a speedster but I would like to see if Beane considers Jordan Howard as an option. I'm sure he could be pulled away from the Eagles in FA for moderate money. He could fill the 1st down back need. Then draft an all around back with a 4th or 5th.
  16. Gore and Yeldon will be gone next year and I expect Beane to sign a decent FA and draft a RB in the mid rounds.
  17. I tend to agree with all you said. IF I had anything to say about JA it would be he needs to work on being more consistent earlier in games. Sometimes it seems he's a little too tight to start. Experience can help with that.
