Wow after thinking about it I wouldn't do it for a 3rd. Mitch is a great cheap insurance policy for the Bills. Mitch going to FA next year may get a 3rd as a comp for the Bills anyway. Indy will give up a 2nd for Wentz next year (if he is out for a long time) so that leaves me with their 1st which they won't likely do. It's a tough road they may be looking down. It will be interesting to see what will happen.

Training Camp practice 7/30

I'm sure you are right. ES is getting up in age (LOL) and I do expect Davis to spell him at times too. It will be a great way to keep him fresh. -
Zach Wilson no show at Jets' camp UPDATE: SIGNED
ColoradoBills replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes it's on Spotrac's books already. Signing bonus amortization is for cap hits not for cash. NY Jets books are their books not the owners that is true. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/new-york-jets/cash/ -

I was thinking more of a Saved By the Bell one. -
Bass-o-Matic -- 5 for 5 on field goals yesterday
ColoradoBills replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I pretty sure it's 5 "game situation" kicks during the team 11-11. Punters and Kickers also kick a lot during the Special Teams portion of practice. -
I can see your point and in a normal situation (non Covid cap stuff) I think this would have been a done deal already. If Josh signs for 6-7 years (a long contract) or more he will be a bargain at the end of it. That gives Beane flexibility to push some of the money back as the years go by. I really am not too worried about it.

Diggs wants to hit more deep balls...

Josh throws the ball 70 yards. So as soon as Diggs catches it it's already a TD! Can you Digg it! -

Even after they paid Wilson his signing bonus the Jets cash out of pocket this year is the lowest in the AFC East. FWIW. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/cash/ -

Beane is looking for a PS guy or 2 after he trades off the guys who don't make the team for picks. -

Last year Brees was a shell of his former self and injured to boot. No one can say "he played with Brees" and deny that. Sanders still had a good year. Not great but good. For years before that he has played with bad to fair QBs. He will be the #3 target and get catches. He is here to get another ring and will put the work in to get it! -

Don't worry they will have 6. Zero chance they go into the season with 5. Zero. -

I guess you hope Beane can make a trade or 2 for some picks on the guy(s) that will get picked up at cutdown time. PS for those who don't. -

E. Sanders is already loving his decision to come to Buffalo. He is going to be an asset to the WR room and get a lot of catches. At his age he may have slowed down some but will make it up with his experience and don't discount a rejuvenation of excitement for playing with this Bills team! I got no fear of him "dropping off".- 187 replies

I fail to understand why my response to your post resulting in you laughing? Beasley today stated his opinion (which I respect) but followed up by saying he won't bring it up anymore. Which is what the Bills front office (and I included) wanted in the first place. Don't give the media room to try to drive a wedge into this team. This concludes my comments on the subject.

Just want to say how comfortable I feel about the Bills having Brandon Beane and Sean McDermott in charge of this team. Hearing them today and thinking back 4 years ago when they came here you can see how much they both have grown too. Bills fans should be happy we got them on our side! "Are you ready for some FOOTBALL"! Edit: 4 years ago.
