  1. Sorry for stepping on your toes. LOL. Seriously though, these guys do such a great job and beat just about everybody to the punch. It's fun for me to pass info on to my brothers and nephews about the Bills quicker than all of them. They make me look great!
  2. Andre Roberts was the other one last year. I can't remember the specifics but both were bumped some plus they got their dead money when cut. I remember saying to myself it was a good deal all around for the players and team.
  3. He is now on "ignore". I hope the mods listen to your question.
  4. I've been looking to see which vet will agree to be cut and then re-signed to clear a player or 2 to get to IR. I have been thinking McKenzie but I think Breida could be targeted for that too.
  5. I did not know that. Thanks.
  6. Personally I was looking to see if he had a beer "between his legs"! Alas no and that did disappoint me.
  7. For sure. Are the Jets really scared that the 2nd overall pick will be so bad they will have to cut him? Some team will take on his contract minus the guaranteed signing money. Trevor's contract has no offsets. It's stupid and shows a degree of faithlessness in Wilson. I mean the kid just took a punch in the mouth after his "go to guy" just died in a tragic accident. Now he has to sit at home and wait for this stuff to clear up when he should be with his team. Jets are gonna Jets!
  8. Man I wish there was audio on this.
  9. I just was on YouTube to learn how to change out the motor on my Dewalt Cordless Drill. I guess I'm ready to take snaps in the Big Apple!
  10. So after checking the Jets QB Depth Chart. Wilson, Morgan and White have a total of 0 snaps in the NFL. WTF are they thinking?
  11. I new camp starts and I would just like to thank @YoloinOhioand all the rest of you who keep us updated on "all things Bills"! THANK YOU!
  12. Steven Nelson makes plea on Twitter: 'Don't hold me hostage' shortly before Steelers terminate his contract. Maybe he isn't a "process" guy. https://steelerswire.usatoday.com/2021/03/23/pittsburgh-steelers-steven-nelson-release-nfl/
  13. I can see you will last a long time on this board.
  14. The whole is greater than the sum of the parts. Aristotle
  15. I had to look up their schedule. Besides the Division games they have: NFC West AFC North NO and WAS 17th game is KC. Can't see them over .500.
  16. It seems to me the new "variants" are causing this. I see this whole thing as being very fluid as the year progresses. The NFL is going to have to be adapting its rules just like the rest of the country.
  17. Yes you are correct. There always are players who currently are under the Top 51 who will make the team. It was my understanding that this was figured into the rules by only having the Top 51 during the offseason to compensate for having 53 on the final roster. It was implemented to get as close to a wash as possible. Of course this is all "team subjective". Some team end up with a little more cap some with a little less. One also has to be aware of the "dead money" when cutting these "over Top 51" players too. A player like Lamp ($1.06M which you used) has $350k in Dead Money. If a rookie took his place it would come out as a wash. Another point is the 2 players called up each week get a weeks worth of NFL Roster minimum salary for that week (a pretty good raise) before they go back down. The main point I originally brought up was with the new PS rules teams spend over twice the money compared to a few years ago.
  18. Well if we are going down THAT road then I will admit I get some pleasure from this regarding Green Bay and it's fans after 2 HOF QBs in a row.
  19. Iggles don't have the cap to sign him (and their 2nd round pick). I wonder if there is a player they are willing to deal. Anyone hear any rumors? sorry.
  20. I usually don't care much and just let these things play out but I got to admit this whole thing is getting pretty childish.
  21. I recently retired from a business that terminated employees for not wearing a mask. The NFLPA has bargained so that doesn't happen to it's members. Instead it bargained for the rules they now have. You can disagree with that all you want but it won't change it.
  22. Quote from last years article. PS has counted against the cap for years. Teams are allowed to pay a player a higher salary than the minimum, and this often happens if another team comes sniffing around a player. All practice squad salaries are counted under the team’s salary cap. https://dknation.draftkings.com/nfl/2020/9/4/21420151/2020-nfl-practice-squad-salary-rules-eligibility-size-roster-cuts-covid-19-coronavirus
  23. Once the season starts the Top 51 rule goes away and all players salaries (including PS players) counts against the cap.
  24. Yep. Now it will be down to hoping a good number of cuts make it through waivers and end up on the PS anyway. I have been waiting for @YoloinOhio to post the news for this season and I for one feel much better!
