  1. That is crazy. I was only at the old rockpile for maybe 6-8 games but only sat under the overhang 1 time. The rest we were in the end zones. My dad did let me run down to try and get a ball after TDs. I was probably 10-12 years old. Different times!
  2. I see your point but after you take out your key ST players the turnover on ST is pretty high every year. The key ST guys are PR, KR, Gunners, Jammers and Personnel Protector. @GunnerBilldid a great job educating on that. Like I said without the details it's hard to analyze. Good thing is Farwell knows what he is evaluating way better than us.
  3. When I re-watched the game yesterday I noticed a lot of young guys on the PS. FWIW. @Hapless Bills Fanhad some type of info showing who was on the field for each drive. I'm not sure if that had the ST snap count per drive too. That would be pretty cool to look at. What say you Hap?
  4. Well if this does mean that Dion could be out for a while it seems to me you got to give Spencer Brown as much work at LT as possible. I know it would be nice to see how he plays at RT for future swing tackle considerations but this has to take priority.
  5. I posted this in another thread. Haack has had one blocked punt (not sure the circumstances) in his full 4 year career. note: It was against the Pats in 2018.
  6. Not sure what you mean. Did we have starters playing on STs in the Detroit game OR do we have all of the ST player positions locked?
  7. Personally I think all this ranking and list stuff is not worth spit but to be honest isn't that what everyone is already doing with the rookie QBs. So why not with pass rushers? For my money the only thing important to rookies of every position is the next play not the last.
  8. Agree. Bojo may have had the stronger leg but with the Bills offense I expect a lot more punts inside the 20 than punts from our own EZ. It's going to be a great statistical move in most situations. Haangin' Haack!
  9. Didn't this guy do Old Spice commercials?
  10. LOL that makes sense!
  11. I do not know who the "Beach Boy" nickname is in reference to.
  12. Agree not a lock but it's his job(s) to lose. IMO.
  13. He wasn't but to put a little context into it, the KR he had he stumbled and looked to me if he didn't he had a chance for a big return. Re-watch that it you can and see what you think. The PR was a 66 yard boomer he had to run back for and the coverage boxed him in. Let's see what next week brings.
  14. LOL you just may be right! I just re-watched the game and with Haack's Haangtime there was a crowd around their PR every time.
  15. Well Taiwan Jones didn't play last night and the punt coverage team played extremely well. 1.8 yards a return on 4 attempts. So there is that for what it's worth.
  16. Yes, but I'm trying to forget that! LOL.
  17. I doubt any of the DBs get cut this time around. The only way one leaves is if someone else is brought in.
  18. Well I just was re-watching the game and up to the Antonio Williams fumble drive (6 minutes left in the third) the Bills pretty much dominated the game. The roughing the passers, a called back INT and intentional grounding penalties killed any chance of it being a rout. After that point the 3rd and 4th stringers came in along with Fromm and things got a little bad. I didn't quite see it that way while watching it yesterday. I feel pretty good after watching the reply of the game. FWIW.
  19. Great evaluation @GunnerBill. Just a couple of comments: Tommy Sweeney: He looked good and his chances of making the 53 may end up being tied to how well of a blocker he is compared to Knox/Hollister. I'm not convinced that Gilliam at 6'1" is big enough to play that role. Gilliam will make the team based on FB/HB/ST which looks good. Tommy is definitely worth watching in the next 2 PS games to see his role. I do have a hard time thinking the Bills go with only 2 true TEs. Davis Webb: Good point about a chance he could get claimed on waivers. Still think they go with 2 QBs on the 53 and take the chance with Webb and Fromm as cuts. Davis is also a key guy to watch if his play picks up even more then your point gets even stronger. Dane Jackson: Last year he looked pretty good at RCB and I noticed he played LCB to start yesterday. Not sure where he has been getting the majority of snaps at in camp. Maybe his technique at LCB is lacking compared to the other side?
  20. I would think that this game might have some influence on who gets cut but I do believe the daily practices (which we have limited info on) weigh a lot more than a few preseason snaps.
  21. I've said the same thing. Last year was all work in the passing game. Run game should be better this year.
  22. I don't know. You would have to ask Farwell.
