Matt Patricia refusal to even attempt to secure a position as a DC on any NFL/top collegiate team and to instead return a failure to a New England Patriots as a "special projects" coach makes me smile. If his agent approved this move all his other clients should be concerned. If Matt did this on his own he is a bigger fool than I would have imagined.

LOL. Now I can root for them to lose every game with zero apprehension.

Detroit Interested in Ken Dorsey
ColoradoBills replied to JGMcD2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Totally agree. I mentioned in another thread a few days ago that Ken Dorsey will also benefit having one more year to prep and that it would make sense that Daboll helps him prepare too. Patience Ken! -

For sure. I'm sure he'll get a current Edmunds jersey once he pays off his medical bills. If someone started one I would be happy to help! -

I'm going to forward this to my younger brother Paul. He just started his chemo for colon cancer 3 weeks ago. Die hard Bills/Sabres fan and coaches/organizes yearly Alden Soccer Tournament. I am nervous but anxious for his "bell ringing" day! Yes **** cancer. Going to be back in Buffalo for next years Home Opener and I told Paul I'm going to try to get us in @Hammered a Lot place for the pregame! -
Good interview Lorax on CBS radio 1/21

Uncle Lorax! I like that. -
Thanks, that's what I wasn't sure of in regards to an UDFA. Had to look up 2nd round tender cost ($3.3M for the 2020 season). I can see that or they sign him to a 3 year deal. Wallace will be interesting.
-
Ike was an UDFA. Doc or anyone else, do you know if there is an option other than the 1st/2nd round tender? I didn't think there was. If not they just got to deal with his agent and come up with a contract, correct? It seems to me that guys like Ike are players the Bills definitely want to keep but they will cost some money. Bojo and Wallace come to mind. Note: After signing the other bigger named UFAs I don't see the Bills having a lot of extra cash in the open market FA for players from other teams once all the Bills FAs are signed.

Funny that earlier in the year I was calling for Lee Smith to be let go and you made good points on keeping him. I have ate my crow after seeing his play this year. He did a very good job. I see him going to camp regardless of the money. Like you said the savings v his replacement in small. I'm sticking with what I believe to be the plan. Nate Becker and/or some other cheap blocking TE will battle with Lee for the blocking TE position. Bills have peanuts invested in the TE position and there will be a lot of players this coming year fighting for every position other than Knox's. IMO.
-
If you both want Lee Smith gone that's your choice but the fact is his 2021 Cap hit is $2.25. He's going to camp for sure and will battle for a spot after a pretty good (better than I expected) 2020 season.

The ankle is allowed to move in this procedure. Great description (if indeed this exact procedure was used) on this video. We made plates and screws for the "screw type" procedures. This system looks much better. I think all this stuff is so interesting. https://www.ypo.education/orthopaedics/foot-ankle/syndesmosis-with-tightrope-fixation-t230/video/

Josh was cleared to play on Saturday. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2856214-bills-josh-allen-expected-to-play-vs-titans-after-clearing-concussion-protocol#:~:text=However%2C he is set to,the team's Week 5 game. A concussion suffered against the New England Patriots after a helmet-to-helmet hit from defensive back Jonathan Jones last Sunday forced the Buffalo Bills' starting quarterback off the field for the remainder of that game. However, he is set to return against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. The Bills announced Saturday that Allen cleared the NFL's concussion protocol, which makes him available to start the team's Week 5 game.

Agree especially the part about them doing a lot of restructuring. I used the wrong term "owed" as you pointed out. I was using that term is the sense of the Saints "reclaiming" any of the paid bonus to Brees now that he is retiring. I'm sure both of us are interested in how the Saints and Eagles move through this in the next 2 months.

Pats fans jumping on Bills Wagon!
ColoradoBills replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
All my friends who are fans from other teams are pulling for Buffalo. Broncos, Steelers, Bears, Giants and even my good friend who is a Green Bay fan wants the Bills to win Sunday. The Green Bay fan genuinely likes the Bills and it isn't about a "weaker" team he hopes to face. -
Yes Void years. I just used the term some "capologists" use, phony. I was pretty sure it's money owed to the player but wasn't 100% sure. I'll take your word that it is. @jlgarshjust said $18M decrease ($180M) and I just looked up some articles on it. That's another projection. I was figuring it would end up around $185M-$190M when all the negotiations are done. After all is said and done you got to admit the Saints are in uncharted waters regarding the cap.
