  1. Like 120. But a lot are small. I'm assuming the 60 they are talking about are large high luxury suites. Without more details we are all guessing.
  2. Remember that wealthy away team groups will occupy some of these suites too.
  3. He's an oldtimer fan. He remembers the 60s and early 70s Steelers. He told me last year their big winning streak was a mirage. He was right.
  4. With the new thread I will repeat this post. 60 suites is less than half of the number of suites in the average NFL stadium. It seems right for Buffalo. https://alsd.com/content/premium-seat-industry-reference-points
  5. 60,000 seats and another 3,000 or so inside suites seems about right for Buffalo. The new stadium will price out some lower income fans and that's just what it is. 60 suites is like half of the average number of suites at NFL stadiums stated in this article for anyone interested. https://alsd.com/content/premium-seat-industry-reference-points
  6. Had lunch with my Steeler fan friend yesterday. We talk some about the game. He is a smart football guy and a long long time Steeler fan. He is not happy with their OL and Secondary which he equates as a big problem in facing the Bills. FWIW.
  7. 70% of Bass Kickoffs were touchbacks last season. It could be even higher this year. One of Haack's pluses is his hang time which is directly proportionate to more fair catches. Fans are not undervaluing STs it's just a fact in todays NFL and looking like a planned scheme by our Bills. It's the Bills potent offense that will give them field advantage this year (just like last year).
  8. He is officially listed as a FB on the Bills which I agree with. He can line up at TE but at 6'1" he is a little small to be a true TE. Big Model Swiss Army Knife.
  9. Reported he was cut. I expect to see him back on the PS.
  10. I figured he was one of the guys to be released/re-signed.
  11. Wow I seen this thread before I left this morning and now it's 11 pages. Anyone think that maybe the STs will have more LBs on them this year (like they are suppose to be) instead of a DE? If Taiwan Jones is cut tomorrow this board might melt down.
  12. People need to understand these ST guys to be useful also have to fit into the guys that dress on Sunday. I can't help but trust Beane and McDermott with this move.
  13. So Beane got a pick for a guy who wasn't going to clear waivers. Good deal. Let's see more!
  14. Panthers have 2 6th rounders next year. So that is what I think it will be. They also have 2 4th rounders but that is just too much to ask for. LOL
  15. Edmunds does need to improve this year. We will all get a chance to see if that happens for his $4M cap hit. Next year he plays for $12.7M. Can we please keep the exaggerated $20M per year talk at lease until next offseason. Good grief.
  16. Bass last year had 70% of his 101 Kickoffs resulting in touchbacks. I believe the league average is in the 60's.
  17. IF there was a location downtown that is the place to do it. Add 500 yards from where the Metro Rail turns by Michigan and have the turn around right at the stadium. A pedestrian bridge over the river opens up Riverworks which would be only a couple of hundred yards away.
  18. 22 cuts and 3 (now down to 2) trades would be nice!
  19. I don't know much about him. That's why I read the article and then I found that comment on Butler.
  20. A quote from that article about possible player cuts: Vernon Butler Buffalo Bills · DT The former Panthers first-round pick could get squeezed out in a deep Bills defensive line.
  21. I didn't see that he did. Good news that he was out there. Keeping Jones on the sidelines the entire preseason is the most puzzling thing I've seen in a long time. I'm sticking with his worth is known and McDermott and Beane want to know if another guy can do his job adequately enough. We all find out Tuesday.
  22. The 2018 O wasn't helping. Bills gave up 78 points in the first 2 games with Peterman playing. Remember 5 picks in one half? Stats have a lot of different roots.
  23. Only for health reasons I believe. Morse and Diggs for example. I never heard about a gunner/jammer being held out of preseason in all my years as a fan. It is strange and really is quite intriguing to watch what happens Tuesday. One side of this will be right and the threads will get quite lively I predict!
  24. I see it as a simple math equation. As the points scored per game has increased over the years the importance of the running game has waned. Ergo, the importance of run defense has waned. Fans on game day go nuts when a team has a 12 yard run up the middle. A quick slant pass play can give you the same result. It's the combined points against both running and passing that matters. IMO.
