  1. If that means you don't like the signing I'm sure there is a good chance they go to the draft for another DB.
  2. I don't think Everett was on Beane's wish list. Like @WMDman said he is a Knox type TE. If Beane goes with money for TE I think he gets a big pass catching type or he doesn't do it at all.
  3. Yes there was and I made a joke about using a W instead of a V. He was on the Bills PS. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/D/DeveJo00.htm
  4. Beane is doing some household chores getting a punter, Ike B. and Levi signed up. I'm waiting for one signing that gives a good chance of improvement in the DE/RB/TE/CB positions to take us to the draft! If he can do 2 I will be elated!
  5. He is a Guard that was o the PS last season.
  6. Well it's 4pm New York time. Welcome to the 2021 season Bills fans! There are still some teams needing to get above the cap. Eagles, Saints, Bears (not much with these 3) but especially the Rams. Here's to hoping we see a Beane move tonight or tomorrow!
  7. That would make sense. I guess the only thing left is bring in some bodies to compete with Bates at Swing Tackle. Glad we took care of that! I'll shoot an email to Beane. LOL.
  8. I leave the drat to you college fans. Are they Tackles or Interior?
  9. Very nice. Bills now have 7 OL in the core. Dawkins Williams Morse Feliciano Ford Ike B Bates (probably not a lock) 2 to camp Adams Dewey I still can see a draft pick to compete with Bates/Adams or Dewey along with a few more camp bodies
  10. To add one thing. The 5th and 6th rounders will carry a small hit even though they are not in the Top 51. It comes from their 1st year share of signing bonus. So you need to add probably another 125k to my total. But, by the time they are signed the $780k displacement should be a little higher.
  11. Haack - $1.575M Sanders - $6M Feliciano - $5M (1st year hit should be this or a little less) Total: $12.575M Less displacing (Becker-660k, Love-780k, Cam Lewis-780k Total Top 51 Cap Hit - $10.355M Bills Current Cap: $10.618M Beane is all square going into tomorrow from everything I have seen so far.
  12. I always like Sanders. That being said he is long in the tooth and $6M is a little more than I could have hoped for BUT I will wait to see how much is guaranteed. Has that been released?
  13. Of course he is. He brings a wrinkle to the game that John Brown didn't have. He also can field a punt and a kickoff if needed to in an emergency. He was loved by the team and the fans here in Colorado I'm sure he will fit in nicely.
  14. I'm not sure. There seems to be leeway in system somewhere.
  15. I've noticed in the pass that some GMs don't do the restructures until they sign the guy they want. Kind of pay as you go. Plus not having all the cap space maybe helps a little in negotiations with the players agent.
  16. That doesn't stop him from playing QB.
  17. It's only $1.6M off the Top 51 Cap.
  18. There is still a ton of players not signed and more getting cut every hour. Beane is patient. We are not.
  19. Yes, they have to stay under the cap at the end of every day. Some teams will look like they are over on Spotrac/OTC but that is unofficial. They official numbers are kept my the NFL.
  20. Bills Cap now at $9M. Looks like the Hyde contract came in. Still waiting on the Feliciano $'s and the Dirty Red contract extension. I'm still expecting a vet (30 years old or so) TE followed by a Lee Smith cut/retired along with a DE if one can get the $'s down. A speedy RB/WR may be in the works too. My prediction is the first gets signed on Thursday (maybe late Wednesday but what do I know).
  21. But the Bills haven't done enough to vastly improve their 13-3 record! Get with the program!
  22. I know we all like Roberts returning punts for us but I think the most important thing to consider is the game day roster slot. I believe the Bills can do better than having a slot go to a punt returner. I say punt returner because a lot of guys can return kickoffs.
  23. Yes. Patience is the word this year. Also if Beane wants a TE Ertz isn't the only one and I'm willing to bet most would like Josh throwing them the ball.
  24. I did try to address the first year cap hit in my numbers. But I think you are right about the 1 year contracts. I expect to see a lot of them at bargain prices. It would be a way for players to ride the storm out. A TE could garner a serious look by Beane especially a one year type deal. It would reduce the risk as to Knox's development or not.
