  1. I watched and listened to the interview on One Bills Live today. Palmer talked about the areas of the game that Josh has learned to control...the last one this year being controlling his own emotions. Now it's up to winning the games they should win by learning from what went wrong in those few moments where Josh could have played better. Really fascinating stuff. It's worth the listen.
  2. Beane also likes depth. He knows they need to get faster on the defensive side of the ball. I expect they will be targeting CBs in the draft.
  3. How many new threads have to be created on this topic??? Mods can we please merge this with one of the other 86 similar topics?
  4. I don't recall when Sean McDermott was defensive coordinator in Carolina, that he played a passive, "prevent" scheme. I do remember Frazier doing a lot of that in Minnesota. In his presser, he mentioned "execution" not only as respect to the kickoff in those 13 seconds, but also the defensive plays that followed.
  5. Frazier, I believe, wanted the Chicago job. It looks like Ryan Pole from KC will be hired as their next GM. I don't believe Frazier is under consideration by the Bears for HC. I believe second interviews are Quinn and Caldwell.
  6. I stated earlier in another thread that if Frazier cannot adjust his defensive philosophy, he does need to move on. We've been bounced from the playoffs in each of the past three years with a big piece of that due to his passive defense.
  7. You know he has to be champing at the bit.
  8. I can't disagree with any of this. I would as a fan like to know "Why?" And as McD said in his presser without throwing anyone under the bus, that for a team like the Bills who practices situational football and situational awareness, to fail to "execute", you have to believe that something that was intended, didn't occur as expected. So fans that ask "why?" are fine. It's those with the "off with their heads", "fire everyone" mentalities that need to follow Josh's example. You do not make permanent decisions based on temporary emotions.
  9. Question...He has three years left on his contract with New Orleans. Since he was not fired, would there need to be compensation to NO if someone tries to hire him as their head coach? Is he free to take another HC position?
  10. Totally agree with this. I wish fans on this board would follow the example of that 25 year old QB. In his interviews with the press, not once did he point the finger at anyone. In fact, he said even had things played out differently in those last 13 seconds and in OT, that would not have guaranteed a Bills win. They are learning from this and moving on. That is called emotional intelligence. That is another reason why this QB is as great as he is.
  11. Unlike fricking Pittsburgh that traded Ingram ti KC. Idiots!
  12. I like what Ryan Clark said about the game. Neither offense deserved to lose the game and neither defense deserved to win it. Technically, yes, there were stops by both defenses, but neither defense stopped the opposing offense when the game was on the line.
  13. Totally agree. When you heard Morse's comments after the game, he talked about Josh in the huddle. They talked about loving each other and playing for each other. Our defense needs a "Josh" a clear leader that can inspire and bring out the best in that side of the ball. We don't have that.
  14. The offenses were outstanding on both sides. Neither defense could stop the opposing offense. KC just had the ball last and the Bills weren't given the opportunity to play both sides of the ball in OT. I also have complete confidence in our offense moving forward. We missed Tre, for certain. Defense needs to be more physical and more aggressive moving forward.
  15. I think it is his defense, but how it gets executed play to play, I believe he defers to his coordinators. That defense can be executed more aggressively and more physically. Yesterday, it wasn't. McD spoke about "execution" defensively in his presser. I think he was thinking coaching as well as players.
  16. I disagree. McD did learn. Offense was more aggressive. Going for it on 4th down not settling for FGs. Hopefully, he now learns to take more control of how we call our defense. Frazier plays passively. I know McD respects his coaches and coordinators and lets them do their jobs, but our defense is the weak link on this team...particularly the design. McD talks about playing physical. Against speed, that's how you need to play defense. Jam the receivers. Don't let them get off the line cleanly. In week 5, that's what Tre and Siran Neal did. Yes, they both got flagged...but there were no big plays. We missed that last night. So...this is the lesson McD needs to learn this year. As much as I like Frazier, I think if he can't adjust, we need to move on.
  17. This is why I hate coordinators interviewing during playoffs. There has to be distractions.
  18. We got two more games to win. Don't count your chickens.
  19. Gosselin from Dallas put out his special teams ranking this week. Green Bay ranked 32nd.
  20. He's playing like C rapahole.
  21. Could Perine have been anymore lazy and clueless on that tipped ball? I'd bench his ass.
  22. They beat GB without Rodgers. Love played that game.
  23. Didn't see that coming. He'll become some new coaches defensive coordinator I expect.
  24. Flores is from NY, so word is he's already being considered for the HC job there. I think Mara reached out to him.
