  1. Question...He has three years left on his contract with New Orleans. Since he was not fired, would there need to be compensation to NO if someone tries to hire him as their head coach? Is he free to take another HC position?
  2. Totally agree with this. I wish fans on this board would follow the example of that 25 year old QB. In his interviews with the press, not once did he point the finger at anyone. In fact, he said even had things played out differently in those last 13 seconds and in OT, that would not have guaranteed a Bills win. They are learning from this and moving on. That is called emotional intelligence. That is another reason why this QB is as great as he is.
  3. Unlike fricking Pittsburgh that traded Ingram ti KC. Idiots!
  4. I like what Ryan Clark said about the game. Neither offense deserved to lose the game and neither defense deserved to win it. Technically, yes, there were stops by both defenses, but neither defense stopped the opposing offense when the game was on the line.
  5. Totally agree. When you heard Morse's comments after the game, he talked about Josh in the huddle. They talked about loving each other and playing for each other. Our defense needs a "Josh" a clear leader that can inspire and bring out the best in that side of the ball. We don't have that.
  6. The offenses were outstanding on both sides. Neither defense could stop the opposing offense. KC just had the ball last and the Bills weren't given the opportunity to play both sides of the ball in OT. I also have complete confidence in our offense moving forward. We missed Tre, for certain. Defense needs to be more physical and more aggressive moving forward.
  7. I think it is his defense, but how it gets executed play to play, I believe he defers to his coordinators. That defense can be executed more aggressively and more physically. Yesterday, it wasn't. McD spoke about "execution" defensively in his presser. I think he was thinking coaching as well as players.
  8. I disagree. McD did learn. Offense was more aggressive. Going for it on 4th down not settling for FGs. Hopefully, he now learns to take more control of how we call our defense. Frazier plays passively. I know McD respects his coaches and coordinators and lets them do their jobs, but our defense is the weak link on this team...particularly the design. McD talks about playing physical. Against speed, that's how you need to play defense. Jam the receivers. Don't let them get off the line cleanly. In week 5, that's what Tre and Siran Neal did. Yes, they both got flagged...but there were no big plays. We missed that last night. So...this is the lesson McD needs to learn this year. As much as I like Frazier, I think if he can't adjust, we need to move on.
  9. This is why I hate coordinators interviewing during playoffs. There has to be distractions.
  10. We got two more games to win. Don't count your chickens.
  11. Gosselin from Dallas put out his special teams ranking this week. Green Bay ranked 32nd.
  12. He's playing like C rapahole.
  13. Could Perine have been anymore lazy and clueless on that tipped ball? I'd bench his ass.
  14. They beat GB without Rodgers. Love played that game.
  15. Didn't see that coming. He'll become some new coaches defensive coordinator I expect.
  16. Flores is from NY, so word is he's already being considered for the HC job there. I think Mara reached out to him.
  17. Phillips didn't play in week 5. Zimmer and Obada played along with Star and Ed Oliver. I think he can be a difference maker this time around. Also, the starting left guard that game was Feliciano. They'll have Jones playing this time so Bates, Morse and Williams will have to be stout.
  18. The main criteria the Texans are using for their coaching search is the answer to the question, "Will you take the job?" If the candidate answers "Yes" he's hired. No viable candidate would ever consider that job. The Texans made it even less attractive by firing Culley after one season.
  19. Speaking of Pro Bowl...Did anyone catch this write up from Peter King's FMIA wild card weekend column?
  20. They forgot Mahomes...WIN.
  21. Management finally learned to set aside draft status or contract numbers and play the best 5 O linemen. They gave those other guys every opportunity. You finally have to admit you judged incorrectly and do what's best for the team.
  22. Just saw tgat on NFL.com. Hope he goes back to draft analysis.
