Picture quality is great. Spectrum upped their internet speed from 100 to 200MB for their regular customers. That's been great for TVs in other rooms. I had an issue with periodic freezing until I realized it was my internet. I have my own modem/router. Called tech support and tech noted my signal had cut out several times. He had me plug my modem/router into its separate outlet, not in a surge suppressor with my TV, phone modem, etc. Did that and have had no issues since. I was getting EMI interference using the common power strip. I never would have thought of that.

That's one of the reasons I left Spectrum cable, but went to streaming through their App. It has all the programming I want. None of the other Live TV apps have all the channels I like to watch. I actually prepared a spreadsheet with all the streaming services (Sling, Fubo, YouTube, AT&T/Direct, Hulu, and Philo and Spectrum) to compare services. To get most of what I get via Spectrum, I'd have to pay extra to any of the services, and some channels I like (e.g. History, National Geographic, YES, etc) were deal breakers if they were missing.

One thing that was telling at the 29:20 mark of Beane's presser: He said we didn't have any issues of finger pointing or blame at the end of the season. No offense blaming defense or defense blaming offense. No players blaming coaches or coaches blaming players. It was players looking in the mirror and everyone looking at doing their part and getting back to work. He credited the culture that McD has set up. I'll take Beane's word as gospel over any reporter trying to stir the pot.

I'm sorry to have confused you. Spectrum has their standard cable service using their cable boxes. They also have a Streaming App (like Hulu, Sling, YouTube etc) that carries their regular programming that you would get via the cable. The Spectrum app can be downloaded to a smart TV, Roku, Apple receiver, Amazon Firestick, a smart phone, basically most of the devices you can use to stream programs using your internet connection. You pay for the Spectrum App like you would for Spectrum TV...whatever plan (basic, extended, silver, gold) you wish to subscribe to. The only difference is you're not paying for any Spectrum TV equipment. If I can clarify further, I'd be happy to answer your questions. By the way...I'm 68 y.o. and I started streaming 2 years ago.

The use of Apple TV does not require their device. I got one of their devices through Spectrum. Instead of paying monthly for the Spectrum box, I was told I could rent to own the Apple device for $7.99 per month and own it after 23 payments. Then I streamed the Spectrum app on the Apple device as well as two Roku devices. I was given a free 12 months of Apple TV from Apple when I activated my device. That mysteriously turned into 15 months free. I loved their original programming so much that I pay $4.99 per month for it now. I also have the Apple app on my Roku's, so I can watch it on all my TVs. It will be interesting to see what they will charge for the Sunday ticket. They now are broadcasting two MLB games on Friday nights as part of their normal package.

I agree with this. The move has also been to hiring from the offensive side of the ball, not defensive. That's why they are starting the efforts to move more black coaches to that side of the ball.
