  1. They traded down again with Bengals.
  2. It's accuracy issues and McShay said today that Josh Allen is the exception being able to improve it. He said Josh is a unicorn.
  3. Yea...you can probably get a quarter for it now!
  4. Yea...he just had another injury.
  5. Good perspective. Every team gets better in the draft...especially those with multiple early picks. They have farther to go, though. That's why they're drafting so early. Plus, the Jets have this tendency to trade good drafted players two years down the line to amass more early picks. We just have to remember, the Bills are also getting better...albeit, they're already good.
  6. With the number of early picks they have they should.
  7. Joe Schoen is now dead to me for letting the Jets trade up!
  8. I think that's the pick. They want to help their QB as much as possible.
  9. Could also be DT depending on whose there when the Bills pick. There are some good ones.
  10. Tasker called Cooks for the Bills today. He called the Elam pick yesterday.
  11. Height and arm length.
  12. Possibly not. With QBs not going yesterday in Round 1, expect at least 4 to go in Round 2 ahead of the Bills. That could push WR down a bit especially with the number of teams that took WR yesterday. It'll be tight, but there is some talent at other premium positions that didn't go last night. Teams may pounce tonight.
  13. Greg Cosell was talking with Brown and Tasker on One Bills Live and was discussing how with Elam's length, he could cover the TEs the Bills have to face.
  14. Pick 130 is worth 42 points not 52 points.
  15. I I know he got hurt in the title game. I just watched a YouTube highlight reel from that game and it appears Williams did get hurt, but Alabama already had the game well in hand. Cincinnati was excited when Williams was out of the game. I didn't remember that either.
  16. Didn't Williams get injured in that game as well?
  17. Excellent work and summary and Congrats on hitting on all those players! I really appreciated your objectivity in discussing the Bills pick, Elam. I think his flaws are correctable and the kid impresses as someone who is willing to put in the work to perfect his technique. I really loved how well he did against stiff competition, particularly Jamison Williams. Cincinnati played Alabama in one of the championship games. Do you know how Sauce fared against Williams?
  18. Or...the only CB they wanted in the first round was Elam. Dax Hill is a safety that could play slot corner...but is not the same as a starting outside CB. Perhaps they took the tackle because the CB they wanted was off the board.
  19. Um...think this through. There is a tiny flaw in your logic.
  20. At first blush, I wasn't crazy about giving up a 4th either. Having said that, what would I as a Bills fan regret more...not moving up and not getting the CB the Bills wanted or moving up when the Bills didn't have to. I think I'd err on the side of caution and grab the player the Bills most needed. I also didn't think we'd use all 8 picks anyway. At some point Beane would have likely traded up. He did it in the first round to get the player he wanted at the position we had the biggest need.
  21. Correct. McDuffie was the other CB the Bills had with a 1st round grade. And how do you know Elam didn't fit any team? He can play zone or man, press, etc.
  22. Unless teams needed CBs. You just don't know.
