  1. Steve Tasker mentioned today that there is no longer a "middle class" when it comes to player salaries. They have risen so drastically, that it is harder to manage your roster as the salary cap is taken up by just a handful on the team.
  2. With some of the takes on this board lately, I can't always tell. 😄
  3. Good...now Fangio to SF and the Dolphins are SOL.
  4. It's about time this guy got some consideration for a HC position. He is a creative defensive mind. Hope they give him a shot. I agree, but I believe the OC was interviewed for other HC positions prior, and this might be Anarumo's first opportunity. He hadn't been mentioned prior to this opportunity.
  5. They had more time since Josh was holding onto the ball trying to go deep. Our game plans on both sides of the ball were ill-concieved.
  6. It will depend on whether they think the price will go up the longer they wait. Additionally...locking up the QB defines how much cap room you have moving forward. Don't know if the Bengals think that way. You make a valid point though.
  7. Interesting...watching NFL Primetime with Berman, Booger and Keyshawn. Key just said that the difference in the pass rush on Burrows from last week to this week was the footing. With the snow Bills pass rushers couldn't get to Burrows. I was surprised at that take by Key.
  8. And there were blatant holds by Cinci against KC...especially Jones...that weren't called. The late hit OOB gave KC the game more than anything.
  9. KC only has 3 WRs left. They're playing with scrubs.
  10. Stop with the fix talk. They just showed the presnap replay with the official coming in from the sideline blowing the play dead because the clock wasn't stopped.
  11. I think one of the things I detest about this good Bengals team is that it allows Boomer Esiason to be an insufferable homer.
  12. Couldn't have happened to a more deserving fruit.
  13. All the talking heads that picked SF said they'd stop the Eagles running game.
  14. I hear you. This movie is obviously meant to be a comedy, and outside of Lily Tomlin, you think of the other actresses more for their dramatic roles. Sally Field started in sitcoms (Gidget and The Flying Nun) at the beginning of her career. Rita Moreno is remembered most for her musicals but has starred in the revival of the sitcom, One Day at a Time. As to Jane Fonda, I've seen her in a number of movie comedies, and she's quite good. Hopefully the script is worthy of their talents and Brady's role is brief.
  15. I don't think this film reduces them since the story is based in reality. Perhaps stud was the wrong choice of word. Aged male actors however get cast as romantic leads to much younger leading ladies.
  16. Dang. Word was Frank Reich wanted him in Carolina. I was hoping that is where he would go.
  17. And I salute these actresses for it. Male actors are allowed to age and still remain studs and get starring roles. Not for female actors. They are reduced to character roles or supporting roles as the mother, the matron, the grandmother, etc. All of them are fine actresses as well, who have given us some memorable performances.
  18. Seriously, this movie will not be around that long. The demographic is not wide enough to support broad appeal (unless it's old broads like me). People are not going to the movies as much as it is. Now if "it" refers to Brady...I whole heartedly agree.
  19. As a member of that target audience, I would agree. 😅
