Cincinnati didn't win this game. The Ravens lost it.
-
They gave him an Emmy instead.

Time.

Could it be the Vikings lack of defense?

The pessimism thread - That game didn’t go as planned

Our oline has to be better. Too much pressure on Josh. That gets exacerbated by all the deep throws needing to develop. -
You are correct in that the majority of their points came off turnovers and short fields. Their defensive line played tough though...particularly versus our poor oline play.

Romo needs to keep his mouth shut. He's been jinxing the Bills big time this game!

They're still up by 2 scores. Don't bury them yet. -

Jags lucked out in that Titans game...barely beating a QB that had been on the team a handful of weeks on a last minute defensive play. -

Good point. Staley could always screw it up. -

Nothing in this game is rigged. Trevor is not playing well. -

I heard that as well. Who was the player? -
Must be midnight. Geno turning back into a pumpkin.
-
Took him long enough.

If Carr is smart, he signs with an NFC team. Much less competitive...especially the NFC South. Carolina would be a good fit.
-
Dumb luck. Outside of SF that division was non-competitive. I wish it was the Lions. I don't expect the Seahawks to put up much of a fight.
-
As much as I appreciate Geno Smith's maturing and finally playing well as a QB, they need to emphasize the run and not put the game in Geno's hands. The SF D is just too tough.

I also want to just mention that those of us who are attributing Damar's recovery to prayer are by no means discounting the fantastic work of the training staff and medical teams. We know they had a direct hand in Damar's resuscitation and recovery. When I pray, I don't expect to see the "hand of God" appear from the heavens to fix the problem. Sometimes it's a matter of people being at the right place at the right time. In thanking God, I'm thanking him for the men and women who effectively cared for Damar and for Damar's life. You can attribute circumstances to coincidence or a higher power. That's an individual call. I lost in the fantasy football playoffs one year to a guy that worked for a Christian radio station. All I needed was for my kicker (I think it was Matt Bryant with TB) to make the game winning kick vs the Carolina Panthers on Monday Night football. The kick was blocked and I lost. As I like to tell that story, I would relate it as "and then the Hand of God reached up and blocked the kick. Actually, it was Julius Peppers." 😄

So sorry at the loss of your beloved sister. May she rest in peace and you and your family in comfort.

That's not what I was saying at all. My point was that anyone who would imply that a person died because someone who loved him/her didn't pray enough is just wrong and is attaching an aspect to God that is conditional. I don't claim to know God any more than the next person. But, I know whom I believe. I don't have the answers to all the questions nor do I claim to. There is randomness in this world. Bad things happen to good people and vice versa. That's actually what the book of Ecclisiastes is about..."all is vanity and striving after wind." Such things can drive one away from faith and believing that there even could be a God. For others, the opposite conclusion is just as possible.

Neither am I. God does not promise prosperity and churches that preach that are gaining prosperity from their attendees. It's almost like they're turning religion into a ponzi scheme. In the words of Tevya from Fiddler on the Roof..."Would it spoil some vast eternal plan, if I were a wealthy man?"
-
That's the biblical definition of faith..."Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." (Heb 11:1)
-
Anyone who would imply that...does not know God.
