  1. All of McD's timeouts were called with the clock already stopped due to incompletions etc. The only one that fried my bacon was the very last one that was called so late. I know he likes to see what the offensive setup is, but that one gave Baker time to go to the sideline to talk with his OC.
  2. I do agree that the offense got too conservative in that 4th quarter. I really didn't take issue with the punts since TB was having a really hard time moving the football into Bills territory. We've seen McD go for it numerous times on 4th down against better offensive teams. Even Josh admitted the offense should not have left the defense in that position and that they need to "close games out on their own terms."
  3. BS! Both teams were getting physical on that play! Waller pushed off Taron as well. You are correct some teams get away with it and some don't. Refs could throw a flag on every play. And I'm not putting the Bills at the top of the heap. Since losing 3 starters on defense the Bills D has taken a huge step backward. They have a lot of work to do still. Today, offensively they took a step forward. Defensively they were solid for 3 quarters. I'll wait to see how the rest of this season plays out before I throw coaches under the bus. That great coach in KC was discarded by Philly and took a huge step backward before hiring one of his proteges.
  4. I think if you use them in a spread offense like we did a lot tonite it could work well.
  5. KC commits penalties. They just aren't called.
  6. Players do stupid things regardless of coaching.
  7. McD didn't grab Baker's facemask to prolong the TD drive! That was a stupid play by Phillips. Bills would have gotten the ball and been able to move it down field. Stop blaming the coaches for dumbarse players!
  8. Admittedly that was a good defensive play by TB.
  9. Knox to IR. Norman and Isabella activated. Just got the message.
  10. That's one game. And how many Bills were injured and out last year?
  11. I got some matching material for my old McGahee jersey (the dark blue) and simply made an iron on patch to cover the name. I now have just a plain 21 jersey with no player and it looks pretty good. Cost me less than $5 and was easy to do.
  12. This is what yanks my chain. Bills lose players the same week their opposition gets players back. We have little luck in this area.
  13. If a foul occurs throw the flag at the time. Not after a big play.
  14. Collins says Hurts has an "intense, trance-like gaze." To me he looks like he's been smoking pot.
  15. London cost us 2 starters...Milano and Daquon. There is considerable drop off in their replacements. Drop off on NE losing starters...marginal.
  16. There is reason for concern, I agree. All this talk about heads rolling and McD losing the locker room is the usual board hyperbole. So what do we know? 1. The defense is definitively weakened with the loss of Tre, Milano and Jones. Their backups suffer by comparison. Today we also missed Oliver who has been playing well enough to help with their losses. 2. Our offense is not playing well. Why? Josh's shoulder, drops? Something is missing though in the last 3 weeks. 3. Special teams isn't so special. Uncharacteristically missing FGs, poor coverage... 4. Josh is not the same Josh. Their trying to protect him hasn't, and the lack of the threat of his legs is making a huge difference in our offense. The bottom line is with all of the above, the players need to play mistake free. They haven't and that has resulted in losses.
  17. Congrats Yolo! At least we gave you a game defensively. Penn State needs WRs. OSU seems to always have a plethora.
  18. I never thought I'd say this but I missed Sean Clifford. Drew Aller has the arm but he's inaccurate and has a lot to learn. Love the defense of Penn State. Too bad the offense isn't quite there.
  19. How can they call intentional grounding on Aller? He hasn't thrown within 10 yards of his receivers all day?!
  20. Likely they'll need callups from the PS at DT and maybe DB so moving Harris to IR and elevating the RB was a practical solution.
  21. I'm watching One Bills Live and Dan Orlovsky just said the Bills should be working on screens. We all know the Bills have not been successful at those. Tasker attributes that to the way defenses play closer to the line because of Josh's running ability. Maybe since defenses have changed with Josh running less, a screen game might work.
  22. Daboll impresses me as someone who doesn't like to be told what to do. I think McD thought running the ball more was a good idea. Dabs thought otherwise. In any event, not a classy move by Dabs at all.
  23. That was a nice play. Totally unexpected.
