  1. Copilot is Microsoft's AI tool for searching the internet etc.
  2. They won. It's over. 31 teams and fan bases are unhappy. 49er fans are calling for Shanahan to be fired. (One referred to him as their version of Marv Levy. Ouch!) I won't be watching any replays. I won't tune into the NFL network until it's time for the Combine. It's time to stop lamenting and move on to next season.
  3. Okay. The SB is over. The Chiefs won...again. It's ground hog day. I suggest we stop torturing ourselves with what could have been in 2023. So let's discuss where the Bills team goes moving forward. We know the GM we know the coaching staff. We know many of the players. We know we'll have 10 draft picks. So...realistically...what players do we restructure? What players do we re-sign? What players do we extend? What players do we cut ties with? What free agents would you like to see the Bills sign knowing we won't be able to afford top line FAs? Deal with the knowns. This is not a thread for wishful thinking (regarding coaches etc). We are moving forward.
  4. That's because Kelce was so wide open the ball was gone before any D line could get to him.
  5. Shanahan was the reason I had little faith in SF.
  6. Spags is the one making the real difference. At least he did this year.
  7. No he doesn't. But Brady might.
  8. I'm sick of Mahomes talking about adversity! Penalties and dropped passes aren't adversity! Losing starting and backup players is adversity. Having a player die on the field is adversity.
  9. He's not cursed. He's stupid!
  10. Shanahan...run the ball! Haven't you learned?
  11. Yes all teams battle the injury bug but not to the same extent. It's one thing to play backups here and there but when you are down to 3rd and 4th string players playing multiple positions on one side of the ball that tilts the scales to the team not having to do that. Beane thought he had good depth. That depth was exhausted this year.
  12. That wasn't McD's decision. Allen saw the opportunity for a TD and took it. The play was there if Dawkins doesn't get pushed into Allen as he threw. That D was a sieve because we were missing key starters. So...likely KC would have moved the football with too much time left on the clock. They would have needed a TD though, and anything could happen. Look at Poyer's play at the goal line.
  13. I have no faith in Shanahan. He has blown two Superbowls by getting away with what got them leads in the 4th quarter. I'm afraid he's going to do it again.
  14. According to the Buffalo News, Butler was let go as part of the defensive coaching shake up. Kamren Kinchens, S?
  15. I don't agree with this in full. I do agree that a QBs success...no matter the talent...is dependent on adjutant circumstances like surrounding cast and coach. They may be successful at winning games due to their talent, but consistently getting to the playoffs and winning needs that coach and supporting cast as well. Tom Brady won a SB with TB but it was largely the TB defense that carried the day and Tom benefited from the offensive mind of Bruce Arians.
  16. I saw a proposal in Bleacher Report with the Giants. Giants get Diggs and a 2024 6th and Bills get DT Dexter Lawrence and a 2024 2nd and 2024 5th. As much as I love Diggs, I'd do that deal in a heartbeat!
  17. Good for them!
  18. I also believe a QBs success is dependent on his coach. If Mahomes isn't with Reid, he'll still play like Mahomes, but would he have had such early playoff success? Look at Stafford. He languishes in Detroit, but wins a SB under McVay.
  19. They're already doing that. Spectrum has their own streaming app which I've been using a number of years. I use it on my Apple TV as well as my TVs with Roku boxes. Spectrum is phasing out their cable boxes and now have their own streaming device called Xumo which you can rent for a monthly fee and eventually own. The Spectrum app BTW consolidates all the channels like cable did. You purchase your programming package but it is streamed versus coming through a cable box. My biggest adjustment was not having a box showing the current time.
  20. They are...but the guidelines are different. Plus...unless a recruit has a desire to serve his country in the armed forces, they would seek to go elsewhere to play football...and then hope to jump to the NFL. Likely the competition for players would be more limited to those among the service academies.
  21. Wouldn't surprise me if they take 2 or more of each position. The draft isn't as solid at EDGE, but has some depth at DT.
  22. Well...since it'a a military academy, recruitment is different, operating under military constraints. Candidates, including athletes, need to be nominated. There are no athletic scholarships. So...I could see the Naval Academy being an attraction for Belichick in light of his father's legacy.
  23. I could actually see Belichick going to coach Navy.
  24. I think they are just as sick of KC winning as the rest of us!
  25. I think there is truth to this...but there is also something to be said for loyalty. Both Slowik and Johnson are experiencing their first OC positions. Their HCs...Ryan and Campbell have put together winning cultures that haven't been part of those organizations for a long time. Something is being built that is special and there is a lot to be said for being a big part of that. Why jump that ship for an opportunity that may not be as rich or rewarding? If they are both as good as they promise, there will be more opportunities when they are ready, more prepared and stand a better chance at success.
