  1. TD Jets. Wilson to Breece Hall. Lots of sloppy tackling by Giants.
  2. That's why you have to watch more than the Bills. There are no really "bad" teams. Some are just misguided. Well...maybe the Broncos.
  3. In Taron Johnson's post game locker room interview he was asked about the defense on that play. He said none of them were looking for the ball. They were looking to block out the TB receivers so they could not make a play on the ball. Godwin said he was "late to the party" and was not in position because he got jammed at the line of scrimmage. The Bills did not allow him a free release. So there obviously was a plan...and it worked whether we liked the way it looked or not. And as Josh said the offense should not have put the defense in that position. They need to "close out games on their terms."
  4. I think Josh Norman was elevated more for special teams purposes and he made some good plays there. Elam's lack of ST play hurts him in terms of value to the team in light of Jackson and Benson being a better fit for our defense. Elam was listed as a top 5 corner in that draft. Unfortunately, he seems to fit better in a man system versus zone.
  5. All of McD's timeouts were called with the clock already stopped due to incompletions etc. The only one that fried my bacon was the very last one that was called so late. I know he likes to see what the offensive setup is, but that one gave Baker time to go to the sideline to talk with his OC.
  6. I do agree that the offense got too conservative in that 4th quarter. I really didn't take issue with the punts since TB was having a really hard time moving the football into Bills territory. We've seen McD go for it numerous times on 4th down against better offensive teams. Even Josh admitted the offense should not have left the defense in that position and that they need to "close games out on their own terms."
  7. BS! Both teams were getting physical on that play! Waller pushed off Taron as well. You are correct some teams get away with it and some don't. Refs could throw a flag on every play. And I'm not putting the Bills at the top of the heap. Since losing 3 starters on defense the Bills D has taken a huge step backward. They have a lot of work to do still. Today, offensively they took a step forward. Defensively they were solid for 3 quarters. I'll wait to see how the rest of this season plays out before I throw coaches under the bus. That great coach in KC was discarded by Philly and took a huge step backward before hiring one of his proteges.
