On Sirius this afternoon...they talked about the Bills trade very positively...albeit they joked they want the Bills to pick and not trade down again at 33. They mentioned a lot of scouts see Worthy as fast...but not of first round quality. Many had him rounds 2 to 3.

I did...and realized it was lopsided. But that's my point. I would only trade down again if the Bills got a boatload and the trading team payed a premium.

I don't think I'd like to drop to 40. The run on receivers could wipe out the top targets.

Screw the draft chart. You pay the premium for the first pick.

If they decide to trade down...the only move I'd make is with Washington...33 and 60 for 36 and 40.

Lance Zuerlein did a mock of rounds 2 and 3 today. He has the Bills picking: 33 Adonai Mitchell WR Texas 60 Jaden Hicks S, Wash 95 Javon Baker WR UCF If we did this...I'd be thrilled!

4 picks different than if the Bills would not have traded their 3rd rounder for Rasul. It's still a 3rd rounder. You're grasping at straws.

And Beane drafted Khalil Shakir in the 5th round in that same draft as Sky Moore was drafted by the Chiefs in the 2nd.

They obviously did not have a first round grade on any players left on their board. Beane always talks value.

We are not allocating our picks to the Chiefs. We traded back because we likely didn't have first round grades left on any players. Do we take Worthy to spite the Chiefs even though the Bills didn't want a 165 lb WR??? I don't think they made the move to save money. It's simply a practical bonus. We moved back because of value...and we improved our draft position in the lower rounds. We now have three picks tomorrow night instead of one.

Not an extra pick...but we did move up significantly. Plus...according to WGR and Sal, we save $2.5 M on the cap.

Doing it the way they did it, according to Sal...they just saved $2.5 million off the cap.

We moved into the 3rd...not the 6th.
