Yeah we’ve spent the last few seasons coaching all of the magic out of him. Might be the thing I hate about this regime the most. I understand trying to coach the “sugar high” out of him but you can’t him a statue of a game manager. I mean come on..

If I was a coach, I’d make it standard practice to hurry up snap after every toe-tap sideline catch- put stress on the other team to figure out if you got it or not.

Yeah I often wonder what McD even brings to the table from an x's and o's standpoint? Like does he even help us scheme to an opponent's weakness? With Frazier you could notice certain wrinkles here and there, even if the overall scheme was the same. Past few seasons I don't even notice that- we just kinda line up and do our thing and hope the offense doesn't execute efficiently 🤷‍♂️

I’d be leaning towards yes. He’ll have extra motivation 2x games a year, and if nothing else we might finally have someone in the building who will insist on getting speed at the offensive skill positions.

Playoff calculators are just like Christmas- the season is getting earlier and earlier every year. Pretty soon we'll be getting playoff predictors in Week 2.

Yeah you got to be process first and foremost to get a crack at this roster. Belichick commanded team-first obedience from the Patriots as well, but he was willing to give ANY player a chance on the roster regardless of why they were being cut, traded, etc. Chiefs have had that same mentality as well. Makes it a lot easier to stockpile talent.

If it ever comes to that I’d rather he go to the Rams. He would thrive under McVay, but Shanahan runs all of his QB’s into the dirt and much like the Bills- can’t beat KC in the postseason when it counts.

A lot of us have been saying that for years- we have no top shelf monsters that will scare and disrupt the opponent (on offense or defense, really). McBeane believes in a team being more than the sum of its parts, and I respect that philosophy but we’ve taken it to the extreme. SOME of those parts need to be high quality parts, or the team isn’t going to be a high quality team.

I’m not convinced we aren’t fielding 10 men on a lot of these downs.
