Those are great players, I don’t think we can any of them tier 1 in the way I’m talking about. How many opposing coaches worry about game planning for Taron Johnson the same way they have to game plan for Chris Jones? Is Benford the type of lockdown problem that takes away half a field? Even the BS sports media would typically notice that. Cook could probably be an every down work horse if we wanted, so the potential is certainly there. But I don’t think he alone causes the defense the types of problems Henry or Saquan do. And again, those types of players don’t grow on trees. But I think it’s fair to wonder why we don’t have someone besides Allen who brings that to the table after 8 seasons.
