You've been trying to tow a moderate line since this event, but I think you’re failing to appreciate that it doesn’t matter what ideology this gunman ultimately claims, if any- the fact is that the leftist media and corrupt education system has for years fostered a culture of acceptance regarding political violence towards anyone that it doesn’t agree with. That’s a fact. Mormons and MAGA have not fostered that culture. Trump is definitely guilty of his share of inflammatory rhetoric, but considering the terminology that has been levied against him and his family since 2015 it would be easily enough to argue he shows restraint.

You've probably already been told and are just willfully ignoring the context of that quote- but Kirk was using this specific line as a retort to a YouTuber named Ms Rachel who was had previously used a Leviticus quote in support of pride month. Basically, he was making the point that it's dumb for a proponent of a gay lifestyle to use the Bible in any attempt to support said lifestyle when there are several ironclad instances that show the Bible certainly does not, in fact, support that. That's all. Wasn't calling for anyone to take the quote literally. So the "nuance" of him using that quote seems to be lost on you, friend.

Sorry mate but it’s not even about finding common ground. If you read even half this thread, you’d realize most of the people who “disagree” with Charlie Kirk don’t even know why. They just know “he’s the opposition”. We live in the most bountiful era of the human race, but people are most miserable than ever. Fact is most people just want an outlet for their hate. You should watch the video that was posted and retract your statement. Spreading misinformation, painting someone as racist when they aren't- that's playing a big hand in what's going on right now. Almost definitely it played a hand in this assassination.

That's a very astute observation. So many kids growing up today have no religion except for their ugly politics. They aren't being taught even secular ethics, and are given no consequences for their actions. Then you hop on tik-tok and all manner of wanton depravity is being encouraged and rewarded. Then you murder a guy who just wants to talk and have an open dialogue? I mean this is only political violence in the sense that Charlie Kirk was a political commentator. Whoever did this didn't do it because they disagree with Trump's tariff policy. This is more than likely just a deranged and angry person chasing clout and infamy with no real rhyme or reason.

Radicalized violence can come from any side of the political aisle, but the main stream media and corrupt public school system has been complicit in the normalization and acceptance of radical left wing rhetoric and demonization of the opposition. Even this thread is littered with blatantly partisan and leading headlines that skew toward that agenda. It's disgusting.

Brady has been good in many areas, but our 2pt game has been abysmal the last couple of years. Scoring from two yards out with JA should be borderline automatic. Pretty disappointed we had all off season and still haven't fixed this.
