    It’s hard to know for sure how much he’s lost while just going through the motions on a crappy team. Not many receivers are going to be the type of consummate pro that, say, Larry Fitzgerald was right up to the end. If Hopkins is in KC next week I think we’ll have a better idea how good he can still be.

    Their defense holds the best offenses in check. And the mediocre or worse offenses get absolutely pimp slapped. Meaning they just have to manage the game on offense and they get an easy ho hum win against all but the best of teams.

    His stint with the Rams was pretty dam bad. And then his interim gig a few seasons later didn’t impress. Seems like if he was gonna be given consideration again it would have happened by now. His defense has won the last two super bowls.

    I really hope a team gives Spagnuolo a chance at HC again this year. It’s unlikely, it would be nice.

    There are those who argue this type of play is to be expected in a “rebuilding year” To that I say: your players are still allowed to execute in a rebuilding year. Your coaches are still allowed to coach. Rebuilding isn’t an excuse to look flat and uncoordinated in all 3 phases of the game.

    To be fair, the offense can’t execute a screen pass to save their lives. So the defense can never practice against it lol 😂

    We never challenge inferior QB’s to beat us - we play them off coverage and give them tons of time to throw.
